I replaced our old Norcold RV fridge with this one. There are a few models from different manufacturers that fit in the cutout for an RV fridge. This was the only model I could find that had an ice maker and auto defrost. The unit arrived in perfect condition even though the packing materials are quite thin. I can see how these could easily get dented if handled rough in shipping. This fridge is super quiet. It was cooled down and making ice within 2 hours of being installed. It filled the ice bin within 48 hrs. The finish does show finger prints but easy wipes to a clean shine.I did call customer service with a question about the function of the ice maker. The manual states to not block the “ice full” sensor and shows a picture of the sensor arm in a down position. Well you won’t ever see the arm in that position unless you open the freezer right after it dumps ice and watch it. It rotates down to check ice level then returns to up position. Customer service asked me to send a picture in response to the email they sent. I was unable to reply because their mailbox is full. I figured out the answer on my own.All in all I am very pleased with both the fit and function of this fridge.Addition: I’ve come to realize that this model without ice maker is the exact same fridge that RecPro sells in a 12v model at 3x the price. They also sell the mounting brackets and door latch for the same fridge. That makes this this fridge perfect if you are looking to replace your old Norcold with a residential style 110vac.

My mom needed another fridge to hold extra food for the grandkids. This fridge is the perfect size to fit I the area she wanted it. The performance so far is great and mom is using this more than the main fridge! I’m in my mid forties and still a mama's boy and there is nothing more important that seeing her smile which this fridge did! I’m happy that she loves it!

I will never buy an expensive item under 4 stars EVER AGAIN after this. I even saw the other reviews mentioning this fridge being too loud but I got it anyways like an idiot. DO NOT BE LIKE ME!Got this piece of trash and for the first month I considered returning it because the initial sound (that you would expect for a fridge after the compressor turns on) was considerably louder than what I would consider acceptable. But because I figured it'd be hard as hell to return this thing, I just kept it.And then shortly going into the second month A NEW UGLY SOUND started to come out of this garbage. It's a loud, terrible grating hum. It has only gotten WORSE AND WORSE and more frequent over time. For some reason, opening and closing the door SOMETIMES makes the sound stop. But I can't be getting up to open and close this fridge door multiple times an hour!!! And then even more recently, now this second ugly sound also always accompanies the first sound that was already too loud.

The Galanz 7.4 cu ft. model has a great upper refrigerator, no complaints. The condensation on inner back wall is odd, but apparently anticipated b/c they added a drip collection system to expel it.The bottom 2.96 cu ft freezer is awkward to use because it is permanently segmented into shelves, all 3 are fixed, hard mounted; they're actually the cooling coils. Sad that you can't remove them to put in a single LARGE item, like a turkey or something big found on sale. You lose a lot of cu ft storage b/c of head space wasted in each shelf. The bottom freezer slot used to have a slide out drawer that's even pictured on the cardboard packaging the unit came in. How come Galanz removed it? A drawer would'a made easier to store a bunch of small items.Overall, glad we bought it. There weren't many alternatives, but the 2.96 cu ft brag is misleading. Coils and head space take up a lot of it.

The media could not be loaded. Exactly like specs. Get cold quick probably within 5hrs. Even after adding in the drinks, it's only on 3 cold setting and is very cold. They delivered inside and were very nice. I was able to use it for guests the next day after it fully cooled. Leveling it was easy and it's very stable. Sturdy doors. Looks great. I got alot of complements.

space saver ice box, about 10 cubic foot total. quiet in operation. i got this one on sale for an excellent price . its not really a "cheap" unit retail. it can be moved about and installed by ONE man. and its small enough to fit through most doors. its not full size , yet its not "small " either. it has a lot of room inside. seems well-made. i'm liking it so far. we will see if it holds up!!

This fridge has worked great for a few years. The issue is seals. The freezer has had to be forced closed since day 1 or it ices. Recently, the fridge seal has stopped working (door does not close completely), causing huge amounts of ice all over. Great for a few years or a garage

This is a great garage refrigerator. The doors have a spring load to assure closure and it works very well. The freezer is at zero and the larger part maintains at about 40 degrees at factory setting. Simple but good.
