I purchased these for hunting and to replace my mud boots that are rubber and cracking. I wanted something that was waterproof and offered insulation for cold Michigan winters. So far, these are the best hunting boots I've ever had. They are snug around the calf, roomy in the sole and fit a thick pair of wool socks without any problems. I was a little worried about breaking them in, and having painful calves and feet, but they're really comfortable. I highly recommend them.Update: After a week long hunting trip in the middle of the woods, I wore these boots from sun up to sun down and they're amazing. Scouting, tracking, rough terrain and obstacles were no problem. I felt dry, secure, warm and had a great footing in the woods. Temps dropped below freezing and my feet stayed dry and warm. Pleanty of room for thick wool socks and the high calf profile did not hurt my calves. Hands down the best boots I've ever owned!

Never heard of this company before, but the price for this type of boot wasn't to be passed up. And I'm glad I didn't pass it up. Warm, comfortable, solid construction, heavy tread that grips ever surface I've stepped on thus far, and easy to maintain and keep dry after a long day at work. I need a years worth of wear to really give a full review, but so far they have been excellent boots.

I had about given up hope of finding a pair of winter boots with sewn on Vibram soles, quality leather uppers and plenty of insulation that I could afford. Problem solved, I love these boots. They are warm, even in northern Maine, light and comfortable. Size is right on the money. It made me feel good to actually get what I paid for. These boots are "As Advertised" and arrived ahead of anticipated delivery date. I'm very happy with my new Bolderton Boots.

I bought these boots a couple of months ago and I’ve worn them 3 times so far in the woods. Even from the first day I wore them they were comfortable. I applied some mink oil to them a few weeks ago knowing that I’d be wearing them through water and yesterday I wore them back to my blind and was standing in water up to my ankles for over a hour. These boots never leaked and my feet stayed dry. I can definitely recommend these even over my Irish Setter boots.

If you're looking for a tall,warm, waterproof rugged, ford tough boot, this is it. Best bang for your buck hands down. Do it you won't regret them.

Runs small, 11.5 will need size 12. Insulation is not really noticeable, extra socks advised. ok for $135 Traction great! comfort ok

Bought these for an elk hunting trip to Colorado and they did not disappoint. Kept my feet warm and dry all day, the comfort was better than I expected.

Boots look nice and are pretty much water proof, but are lacking in support.
