Excellent. Brings the PS2 back to playable life.
WOW!! Okay, so I had this other contraption that allowed you to hook up the composite video cables (Red, Yellow, White) and covert it to HDMI. With the PS2 it looked like garbage. Then I found this one on-line and read the reviews and they all said it was great. So, I figured, for the price, I'll try. WOW. Amazing. The PS2 looked great on my 1080p TV!!!!! I was able to play my SOCOM: Navy Seals game which I've been wanting to play ever since I started watching the "Seal Team" show. Now I'm thinking of ALL the PS2 games I can play again.The only thing I question is that the instructions and the box says its for the PS2 AND PS3. But the PS3 is already HDMI native. So, I don't understand how and why you would use this module for the PS3. I'm just using it for the PS2 so I still gave it 5 stars.

Perfect
It works amazing. It plugs right into the original PS2 port, the visual and sound transfer are perfect. It was easy enough to set up(needed the USB power to run it,) and is cheaper than some options out there.

Update! Messed with some settings and got an one branded HDMI and it worked great on my own roku tv. Looks way better now and I'm having a blast!

DOES NOT SUPPORT PS1 BACKWARDS COMPATABILITY
Works ok on the 1 ps2 game I booted up, but I bought it to play ps1 games on the ps2 for better performance. It will get to the bios screen just fine, but once the game starts, it cuts signal. REEEEEAAAALLLLLY wish it stated that in the product description.

Only works for some games!
The converter only works to convert video at 480p, meaning some games will NOT work with a converter. For example, ICO will work for pre-rendered cutscenes which exist at 480p, but gameplay and menus will show a black screen due to them being rendered at 240p.You can see if your game will work in advance by checking the bottom of the disc. If it’s blue, it likely won’t work.
