Edu Science ProLab 1200X Microscope - Toys R Us Exclusive

I bought this microscope for my eight year old granddaughter. I guess it works, but the field of view is so small that she can't make out anything she is viewing. My recommendation for anyone buying a scope for a child is to get one with a wide field setup. You may sacrifice some power, but it will make the experience much more positive.

it works good if you know what your doing.I had no problems focusing and seeing the slides.I think the people are not patient enough, it is fine tuning you do not push a button and it is in focus.

My son had a great time looking at everything that came with this microscope. He is 12yrs and into science related items. He liked that it came with a large case that holds many additional accessory pieces. And I like that it comes with a wall plug and doesn't require battery's for operation.

Recently picked this up in store as a Christmas gift. After all the bad reviews had to try it out first in case I needed to return it. It worked great. Only took a few seconds to focus in on the provided slides. Focussed crystal clear for me. Love the ac adapter so we don't have to waste batteries. My son is going to love it.I can't say how durable in the long run it will be but it felt very durable out of the box.
