the wire is not incredibly tough, but they should last a good while if tied correctly and snipped off. The tags are nice, but not incredibly thick. I would happily pay for thicker tabs and thicker wire, but I think this is about as good as these get.

Great for tagging hydraulic hoses
I regularly use these when getting new hydraulic hoses made. 1 goes on the hose to be replaced and two go on the connection side of the equipment. No more getting 15 hoses of different lengths back and trying to figure out what goes to what.
