Sturdy and cheap!
Great usb stick, I have tried all makes and models, they all can fail, even solid state drives fail. Its just the luck of the draw, I have had flash drives that have lasted for years and others days (always be sure not to extract usb while busy and if your not sure there is an extract icon on windows 7 onwards to tell if it sate to remove or not, it in the bottom right corner of desktop, a sort of green icon). This drive feels sturdy and write speeds are not good but its acceptable, I now realize that this review covers a vast array of Toshiba drives, so to be more general the drives are all good and I will not buy any other make, I have just bought the metal slim design one and I am most pleased with it.

They fit very easily in to the slot on my laptop
I previously bought a Toshiba stick with 64 GB on it. It hasn't let me down and I will always look to buy this brand if possible when buying USB sticks. They fit very easily in to the slot on my laptop, to my limited techie brain the write speeds seem good and they don't get corrupted, unlike other cheaper models. Love the colour of this one, hopefully they make other colours available in all sizes of storage. Can't fault this, and delivery was fantastic, arrived day after order placed.

Does what I need it to.
Excellent product and easy to use. I simply plugged it in, moved some files over and that was it. It also comes with a sliding cover to help protect the USB end port. Not much more I can say really. Does the job at a great price.

Unfortunately, these Toshiba 128GB USB sticks didn't work.
These USB sticks must have been faulty. After doing a "Quick Format" to NTFS, I tested one with a few MP4 files, and they seemed OK, and then filled it to the brim with loads more MP4 files. Unfortunately, virtually all of the files refused to play on my TV, which showed a broken file icon on screen. Strangely, some MP4 files were OK, including the originals I had tested on a short-run. Copying these faulty files back onto the hard drive of my computer from the USB stick revealed that they must have been corrupted by the stick, as they also could not then be played on the computer (though the originals could).Trying a second stick, I also formatted it to NTFS, using "Quick Format", but a message appeared, saying the formatting couldn't be completed! I therefore felt a Full Format would be necessary, but when this was started, the speed on the progress bar indicted the formatting would take about a year! - so I stopped it, and tried a Quick Format again, which, on this occasion, was completed. I then spent a very long time copying MP4 files onto the stick, which, according to my computer screen, showed was actually happening. However, when eventually putting the stick into my TV, it refused to recognise the drive, even after several attempts. To my astonishment (and horror), when I plugged the stick back into my computer, it was totally bereft of files, and when I checked its Properties, the computer told me it contained an unrecognisable file system! These two sticks, plus a third one I didn't want to waste time on, were all returned pronto. At the time of writing, I await a refund and notification that the three sticks have been received by Amazon, but I'm confident these things will happen. This is a real shame, as I have used two Toshiba USB sticks before, though 64GB ones, half the size of these faulty ones, and they have been superb. I've ended up instead buying just one "SanDisk Ultra Flair 128GB USB 3.0" stick to test, and, after filling it to the brim, have found it works perfectly, both on the computer and on the telly. It is also, of course, much faster, and was a few quid cheaper than the Toshiba ones.

A very cost-effective solution
I purchased the Toshiba 32Gb USB 3.0 Flash drive in order to create a bootable USB Windows 10 Recovery Drive.I had previously tried to use an existing and otherwise well-working SanDisk 32Gb USB 3.0 Flash drive for the same task, but it crashed on several attempts. The Toshiba made short thrift of the task and is now safely stored away with other back-up drives. At under £7, the Toshiba 32Gb USB 3.0 Flash drive provided me with a very cost-effective solution for an important data storage requirement.

Nice stick that feels well made
Nice stick that feels well made, with a nice firm fitting cap that gives me the confidence to stick it in my pocket with the plethora of other junk that is in there and not worry about the cap coming loose and a rogue key damaging the USB plug. Not much else to say, it is what it is, if you need a 16GB Memory Stick, then this is cheap, and it works.

Do what they're supposed to.
There's not much to say about these, they just do what they're supposed to.I feed them pictures for a local magazine we support, and give them to the missis, who adds the text and e-mails them to the editor then gives them back. That way she doesn't have to bother about working a house LAN. The process is still pretty quick despite them not being usb3, and her only having usb2. They're quite capacious for the money, look quite sturdy, and I can't be bothered to test them for their exact performance, they work well enough for our needs.
