Well engineered.
Only used once but, when I filled it with 2 stroke mixture, once primed, it started first pull. It worked perfectly and operation was simple.

This machine has the worst 2 stroke motor I've ever experienced
I have only run 3 tanks of fuel through this total rubbish machine, not used for sucking ever, only blowing. Good clean fuel with proper 2 stroke 40:1 mix used. The machine shook more than any 2 stroke I've ever had on the first 2 tanks and on the third the starter cord/handle was constantly bouncing around, it made my fingers tingle when I stopped using it. When started for the 3rd time machine would not throttle up and would bog down and stop, just not fit for any purpose at all, total rubbish. Oh and even though it says Hyundai (Korean?) all over its actually a (really poor) Chinese product - according to the manual.I've had seven 2 stroke machines from chain saws to hedge trimmers over the last 40 years. One strimmer from 1984 still runs just fine and is used every year.

You get what you pay for but overall good piece of kit for the money
Read some mixed reviews about reliability before purchasing. Thought would give it a go as a lot cheaper than rivals, so far pretty good, had a lot of use out of. I wonder if some of reliability issues mentioned could be due to not setting up/looking after properly, either this or genuine faults. Overall mines working really well, starts repeatedly straight away. Note changing fuel filter is very fiddly however, only complaint...once done a few times is easy enough, just be prepared to use the swear jar a few times!!

Easy to setup and use great quality and very powerful
Blows leaves and debris with ease on tick over very rarely have to increase the revs, it doesn’t pick up wet oak leaves easily but will pick up other smaller leafs with ease and mulch them to a dust, the collection tube for the bag clogs easily with dry and wet leaves.the bag is improved. I’ve used it 3 times and filled the bag full in two days several times and it’s still holding up great the shoulder strap is a annoying it’s too long and not comfortable to wear. It’s starts with ease on second pull after been left overnight in a freezing cold shed, it’s heavier than the electric one I had from Aldi a long time ago.

Lightweight and Easy to use
I ordered this as a Christmas gift for my son: However within six weeks the stitching of the collector bag blew out, scattering collected leaves and rendering it useless. As my son had received it as a gift he had a struggle securing a replacement bag. Initially it was 'authorised' then a 'supervisor' came on the line demanding proof of purchase, which of course my son didn't have. I forwarded details of my order (I don't usually like to disclose the price of gifts I make) to confirm purchase date and am pleased to say replacemeng bags have arrived: I now have to get them to my son. So poor quality control, Hyundai: Could do better.

Fuel leak appears a common problem
I use Stihl blowers at work and wanted something for home use. It appears to have much less blowing power than a BG86 which I think is due to the output tube being smaller.Arrived with a leaking petrol tank, as noted by other reviewers - the grommet where the hoses go in, was split. The Genpower support suggested I had left old fuel in there. It was a new item! Took a bit of effort before they sent the parts, which took two weeks. They sent a spare tank with grommet fitted, and a spare grommet/hose of a slightly different type.On inspection, the grommet fitted in the spare tank was also split, photo above. It appears that replacing the tank requires complete disassembly of all the plastics and from engine, so I chose not to do that. It was extremely difficult to press the new grommet into the old tank hole, sore thumbs! and honestly I should have just returned and bought something else.I shall be asking for another spare grommet. The suction works ok but is slow. I notice the mulching blades are blunt, by design? May perform better if sharpened.

First and last Hyundai product. Should have known better.
I thought that the assembly was too involving and tasking for a product designed for the average person simply looking to keep their garden tidy. If you’re quite handy then you’ll have no bother, but assembly didn’t feel all that user friendly. The blower mode seems to work the best and is the simplest setup option and I had no trouble with it in this mode. However, the vacuum/mulching mode is more of a mess around, having to change the attachments with an Allen key. The strap on the collection bag is cheap and poorly designed and uncomfortable. The fuel primer bulb is not in a good place especially for men with larger fingers. The product itself is poorly designed in vacuum mode as the exit pipe into the bag curls under the machine so when you put it down either to refuel or take a break, it sits on its own pipe which doesn’t look or feel natural. But the main reason for my poor rating is when I was using it in vacuum mode the engine kept cutting out and stalling. I’m a BMW vehicle technician so I know my way around a combustion engine. I thought it was a fuel issue, adjusted the feed pipe, checked the spark plug, carb, air filter everything. But it was doing this on the first day I used it and I shouldn’t have to mess around with a brand new item I’ve just purchased to make it work. It should just work. I wouldn’t buy a cheap Hyundai car so should have known better than to buy this. I’ll be replacing it with what I should have bought in the first place. A Stihl.
