Not recommended. Small & flimsy
It's a great idea, in theory. It's just much smaller than we expected. As a matter of fact it may not be more than a ruler and a half squared when completely unfolded. It's also difficult to re-close the 4 zippers to make this 'toteable'. Not a great idea for little hands at all, it takes US as adults, some serious effort to close up. It's flimsy and just not something that I'd recommend to a friend. Your better off working with some cardboard and crayons.

Fun carry along
Purchased despite other reviewer's comments. Not that small (about the size of a shoe box when zipped up), Comes with one car (matchbox size) I bought extra matchbox diecast cars and my grandson loved his present! Kids can take it on a long car trip and gives them something to do. Plenty of room for small items (sun glasses, visor, crayons, etc)

I'm not sure if it has the play value
This is a great idea and works well for traveling. I purchased it for traveling with my 4 year old across the country in an airplane. It worked okay. Great size for the tray table. It is easy to clean, but he just did not like it. He had more fun zipping it into a box and then laying it flat rather than playing cars on it. I am not sure if it just doesn't have the play value, or maybe he was just not interested. He has not touched it since we traveled 4 months ago.

My grandsons love these totes.
I have bought two of these, for 2 different grandsons,(2 families), one was for a 2 year old and the other was for a 5 year old. Both boys love them. They both enjoy being able to pack their little cars and take the cars with them. It's smaller then I thought ( should have paid more attention to the measurements), but since both boys are happy with the little totes, I am happy with the totes. Both are well made and I think they will last thru the constant play.

Not good for travel
I was fine with the size of this little bin as it's for my 2.5 year old and just a few cars. However, it's terrible for travel. The lid absolutely does not stay on. Every single time we picked it up cars were everywhere.We have had it only a month and the little red strings on the zippers have started falling off. If you want to buy a frustrating product for you and your toddler this is it! Really wish I would have purchased something else.

This was a little bit smaller than I was expecting it to be, but the material was pretty solid and it has held together pretty well considering my three year old son has had it for awhile now! The playmat is really cute and it is easy to fold and un-fold!

meh.
This bin is fine, but I can't say much more than just "fine."It is TINY and the lid, although it fits fine, doesn't secure on the top and is constantly off of it.NOT great for transporting cars since it always seems to be losing the top.My 4-yr-old was thrilled with it for about a week. Now it's buried in the toy box.

I think it's a great idea. It is fully functioning and great material but it is REALLY REALLY small. And if I saw this in a store. I probably wouldn't have bought it because there isn't much to play with it. And most of the inside space is used up from the corners folding inside its self.
