Ikea EKBY BJARNUM 11 " Connecting bracket, aluminum

Terrific find. The best fit for the brackets are stair steps...they are a full 1" thick. If you cut off the rounded edge on the 12" wide tread, the wood fits perfectly into the bracket. If you try and buy 1" thick plank, you will get 3/4 "...wood is not cut true to size. The brackets are sleek and great looking!

Glad I found this available on Amazon. I went back to IKEA to get one to add some strength the a shelf I already own with two end supports, but found the new version wouldn't work with my older shelf. This one was the right fit for it.

OF NO USE . . . A like bracket served me greatly in the past, but I am now unable to locate the shelves to fit. Amazon did not respond to my queries and online search resulted in nil compatibility. Shelf must be 1" thick and 11" deep. There is no IKEA store in NM and I cannot afford a trip to California to visit IKEA. IKEA is not user friendly online. Even their catalog has no phone number.

They have a sleek modern look and they are sturdy. I used them to hang open shelving in my kitchen for my dishes. Love the way they look! I love them so much I'm trying to find somewhere else to hang some shelves.

I bought smaller 7.5" years ago for my home a few years ago and recently purchased the 11" for my business. They are sleek and solid, stylish and professional.
