Works as well as EC3 candles and bigger
I've been buying EC3 mold candles for 2 years as it appeared to be cheaper. I have used other citrisafe products and all work just as well as EC3 for my recovery in mold illness. I was really surprised when the citrisafe candle came in bc its quite a bit bigger than the EC3 candles therefore saves me just a little bit of money. My biggest complaint about the EC3 candles was they go quick and for the price, makes one cringe. Toxic mold recovery gets soooo expensive but every little bit helps. In regards to if it works, yes it works just as good as EC3. If you look at the active ingredients in both products, they are identical. I'm incredibly sensitive to mold from toxic mold exposure plus also have a mold allergy. my first mycotoxin test shows I had all the toxic molds in my body. Yeah.Keeping mycotoxins down in my environment is a must especially during recovery. I feel soooo much better after I burn these candles for an hour. The air gets lighter and not as dense. My mast cells calm, I have MCAS from the dumb mold. Money had got really tight bc of the treatment from mold and so I didn't purchase the EC3 candles for quite a few months. I forgot how much of a diff they make and I really don't want to go without them. And yes, I have good air purifiers in every room but the mold candles are the cherry on top.I've seen some reviews saying the candles don't work or waste of money. I think this may be a misunderstanding how they work so let me try to help clear things up. These candles will NOT kill mold. They neutralize mycotoxins. They are NOT a replacement for remidiation. They work much better if you clean prior to burning. Think of it like a mycotoxin sanitation. You don't sanirize a glass or dish before as replacement for soap. You need to clean the dish or glass and then your stearlize it. Same with the candles. If you have active growing mold, it can semi help but it's not going to kill the mold. You still need to address the problem to begin with and then clean up your area afterwards. If you just have normal every day mycotoxins floating in the air, you need to clean your home which includes dusting (mycotoxins hide in dust) and THEN you burn the candle. We use fly lady cleaning schedule so each week, we clean the zone and then burn the candle. If I feel an area where air feels dense, I burn the candle. If the candle isn't working, you probably have active growing mold somewhere. Being sooo incredibly sensitive, I can seriously react to mold growing under a trash bag in a trash can. Times when my mold candle wasn't working or making a diff or even just helping only when I burned it, we have found mold in fridge drain pan, garbage disposal, dehumidifier, trash can, sink drains, etc. Mold illness stinks and small amounts of mold causes issues for us and these candles are a must for us. They are a tool of many things in my arsenal against mold. But like any tool, you have to know how to use it properly.Hope that helps someone. There's alot of misinformation out there when it comes to mold, mold illness and even scammers out there praying on desperate sick people. I've had to learn through MUCH trial and error during my recovery. Thankfully, it does get better. I'm 2 years out of mold and symptoms improved a ton but like I stated above, I had every toxic mold in my body therefore my recovery is pretty long. When your so sensitive to...well...everything, you learn what does and doesn't work. Haha. And for record, I tried making my own mold candles using the exact same ingredients (think my ratios was off), used Essential oils and they didn't work.

Clears the air
I can't tell you if it is working on the mold, but my allergies go down when I use it so I'm going to believe it helps. There isn't an odor that would irritate someone with mold sickness and it is nice to have that little bit of reassurance.

Unfortunately, the label melts. If not for that, I would have recommended it.
I really wanted to like this candle, but unfortunately in use the label on the outside of the candle melts. This happens for a couple of reasons. First, once the candle is about half used, the only way to get the wicks to light is to tilt the candle. This leads to the flame(s) being even closer to the edge of the candle than when sitting flat, resulting in the label melting just trying to get the wicks lit. And this leads us to the next, related issue—the lower the wax gets, the lower the wicks/flames are, and the hotter the metal container becomes during normal usage, which, again, results in the label melting. This happens long before the candle is used up. At the end of the day, the wicks are simply WAY too close to the container edge, causing the label to melt both when trying to light the candle as well as when the candle gets below about 30-40% capacity. This is unacceptable, on both fronts. I'd rather there just be a single wick in the middle of the candle, far away from the container's edges. Obviously, this would require a longer burn time to melt the wax evenly, but it would solve the issue of the label melting. And given that I seriously doubt it's healthy to breathe the fumes of the melted label and/or the adhesive underneath it, this is a major issue. I hope it'll be fixed in the future. These are far too expensive for these sorts of issues to exist.Update: I've started removing the labels and cleaning off any adhesive residue before using these candles. This eliminates the risk of the label melting and breathing the resulting fumes. It's not something that should have to be done—the candles should be designed better, especially given the price. But knowing what happens if the label isn't removed, it pretty much has to be done, in my opinion.

Wasteful
I like the candles and found them helpful burnt for an hour or two before bedtime. However, the wicks died with 1/2 inch of wax in the bottom, so at $15+ each this is not a viable option for me. I also found 3 wicks was excessive for the diameter of the candle. Altogether, wasteful, sadly. I'll keep looking.

Smell is not pleasant
The wicks react differently when lit and cause a larger flame at first. Not impressed with the smell.I lit the candle 4 times and it is already out. Not even 6 hours worth of time.

Seems to work great
Seems to work great at clearing up the air when burned. Smell is palatable as well.
