This was a great project to do with my toddler. Everything was included. Simple and easy to assemble!

I was able to assemble this easily. It is the wrong time of year to put it out but when spring comes, I look forward to attracting bees

I love doing crafting kits with my kids, and this one is great because we are making something useful. The outside of the house has a cute (and friendly) bee design pressed into the wood, so it is visually appealing to children (and adults).The steps are rather simple, and all I had to do was line the sides up and get the screws started, and my five-year-old was able to do the rest- including inserting the tubes. The kit also came with a simple information sheet to help kids understand what the kit was for, with more detailed instructions for adults on the other side.I didn't time how long it took to put everything together, but I'd guess we spent about 15 minutes on this. It is the wrong time of year to put this out, so I'm not sure how it will work as an actual mason bee house, but it looks as solidly made as those available from local farming stores.The only downside is the price- there are cheaper options out there if you just want a mason bee house, but this kit (at least for me) was more about getting my kids interested in the natural world and giving them a hands on project. For that, this was a win.

Bee houses are a great way to create safe habitats for solitary bees in your garden. Solitary bees are important pollinators. The beehouse building kit is fun and easy to put together. Quality is great.

I wanted a kit for my nephew to build. The packaging was a bit banged up and I could hear loose hardware, but it was to be a gift, so I didn’t want to make it worse by opening it. I’m sure he a d his dad will make it and it will be fine.

Cute build your own kit for these colder covid days with our kids. Looking forward to installing next year for the bees!

My grandson loved it and his eco friendly Mom appreciated the gift. Gave him non gmo native species wildflower seed pack to go with the hive so hopefully next summer we will have a Buzzy hive. Also got him a small man's tool kit to help with assembly, though it was not needed.

This it is easy to build, and it comes with clear instructions both on building the bee house and on using it. My daughter has been concerned about the environment and bees, so we got her this kit and "adopted" a honey bee for her for Christmas. This kit is simple enough that my 3 year old could easily build it. It comes with pre-drilled pieces that you screw together with the provided allen wrench and cardboard tubes to fill the house with. There were a few places where the wood was chipped (along routed grooves). That bothered me a bit, but the bees won't mind.

I didn’t open it because it’s a gift.
