Makes mixing my hummingbird nectar so much easier and quicker. I don't have to search for measuring cups and something to put it in , and after buying the mix from Hummingbird Market , also excellent it is a must. The Sugar Shaker is very well made and I'm sure it will last a long time. I had also bought one for my son for his birthday but I gave it to him early cause I wanted to do something to make things a little easier for him after a busy work day. Definately buy this one, you won't be disappointed.

little spiral tumbler seems to make all the difference. easy to pour in sugar to line, then water to line. screw on lid and shake. just a little arm movement, walking out to the feeders, and the sugar dissolves. lid screws on easily and pour spout opens and closes well. have had no leaking. 5 of my feeders are taken down and drained nightly by the raccoons, so i don't fill the feeders full, but just enough for the day. so i've been using the mixer daily.

Having the nectar all ready to go and stored in fridge is so convenient. I can re-fill the feeders right away when needed and then refill the jar in just a matter of minutes.

It’s an awesome shaker for making homemade nectar and storing it too. I was having problems with mold in my other containers but this doesn’t have the nooks and crannies to hold moisture.

I use to boil water then mix in the sugar and wait for it to cool. Then use a Funnel to put it in my feeders. Now I just add sugar and cool water and shake 30 seconds and ready to poor in feeders. No more having to boil water
