Updated review: Two of the bars broke in incredibly light wind in Arizona. It wouldn't survive a day anywhere else. I kept is so properly- always in the side place in my duffel bag. I doubt it would survive even a week if stashed inside a purse. It has been only 2 months. It doesn't even rain here. I am so disappointed. I have never had an umbrella break on me this quickly before and i have lived in places with very heavy monsoon showers and wind.The color is nice and it is light but you can buy umbrellas at dollar tree as well, and they probably last just as long as this one.Hate to rate it so low, but for the price, it is not worth it.old review:4/5. I bought it to hide from the sun. It inverts in windy conditions.. so definitely not for places like Chicago.But it is small,light weight and that is more important for me! So i am very happy with the umbrella.

This is nice umbrella. Color light blue is great. This umbrella probably serves it's purpose greatly. The only thing is: it is not for travelers who need light weighted umbrella. It is heavy. It looks and weights like regular umbrella from department store. I thought this one is lighter and would be great for taking inside the carry on luggage, but turned out it weights the same as usual umbrella. Size is also same. Difference is that it was twice more expensive then umbrellas I bought at Marshall's.

For 19.99$, this was a great buy. At first, I received a slightly damaged sleeve, but Kolumbo was able to clear that up and sent me two replacements for free. The umbrella opens easily with a press of a button. The size of the umbrella is also really good as it seems to cover a larger area than the previous travel umbrellas I used to own. The only drawback is that it takes some effort to push the umbrella back to its travel size with one hand. It is easily done with two hands, however, Overall, I was delighted with both the service as well as the product.

i wanted a white umbrella and i thought this was white i didn't pay attention my mother wanted it and put on my list for her birthday, nice works great and nicely made great price just wish it was white, i kept it anyway, still looking for a white umbrella cant find it.

I bought this umbrella in gray. It is a lovely pale gray. This takes 2 hands to close it and a bit of effort. Next time I would look for one that is not as compact because I would prefer easier closing. BTW be sure to use the button to open and close umbrella. Button closes it partway, then you have to use some strength for securing it closed.Edit: I have gotten used to this umbrella and upgrading to 5 stars. I like it.

I was very excited about this umbrella, but the first time I used it, it flipped 4 times in the first five minutes of my walk. The winds were about 16 mph, which should have been fine according to the description. It did not break, so I was able to flip it back but had to hold it to keep it from flipping again.

I’ve gone through two of these in a couple years. Definitely not unbreakable. Size is good for travel - I can fit it in my purse. Just don’t buy it expecting it to withstand the wind or much use. Not any better than the cutesy travel umbrellas you can buy at Walmart

It's a nice and resistant umbrella. However, it's not large enough. I just made a 10 minute walk under rain with a little bit of wind. The umbrella was not stressed at all and I didn't feel any pull but, at the finish of my walk, my lower body was pretty wet and my upper body was dry. I'm about 5"07.
