Purex Technology 3000 DPI High Precision Wired Optical Gaming Mouse with Adjustable Thumb-Rest - PXE-M720BU

I've been using this mouse for several years, and would classify is as medium size at best. The reason I've given it a medium score is because features and fit are pretty much average. The rubberized thumb cover fell off within a few weeks, though I'm able to still use the mouse, it just doesn't feel as grippy. The third and little finger rest is very slippy, so it's hard to reposition the mouse if you need to pick it up during gaming. And finally, it is way to easy to accidentally adjust the dpi during frantic action.It sounds like I hate the mouse, which I don't. It's just an average mouse at a very inexpensive price.

I have probably tried 15 different mice and non have been this comfortable. If you have large hands this mouse is perfect.

The Purex Surgeon M720 is the best replacement for a Microsoft Intellimouse Optical which has a thumb click button. The two thumb operated up and down buttons on the side are light and respond perfectly. I programmed the two thumb buttons to be the click buttons on my mouse and it is so comfortable. All buttons can be programmed with the included software disk. Very comfortable ergonomic design for right hand users. I also tried the Purex Surgeon M535 but the thumb operated buttons were hard to click on.

Honestly sad that they're are not more reviews for this mouse. I purchased one on a whim about 2-3 years back and LOVED it, friends love it, its honestly a solid mouse. I'm actually writing this review as I purchase a second one for work (am a CAD technician) and loved it for personal use so much that I wanted one for at work also. The adjustable thumb grab is great for getting the right feeling and the adjustable DPI setting with the center click is great for different tasks, although I personally keep mine right in the middle all the time.Overall, I wouldn't let the small amount of reviews deter you if you want a nice mouse that looks pretty cool and is super comfortable for long sessions be it work or gaming.

I purchase 2-3 at a time and my entire family uses these mice. We have used them for 10 years. They are supremely comfortable as your entire hand can rest on the mouse. The only other mice that I have found which can accommodate resting your entire hand on the mouse are 'vertical' and rollerball mice. These other types of mice are a much different feel (which neither myself nor my family has liked) and in the case of rollerball not very easy to use for gaming. This is the perfect blend of the traditional mouse with an ergonomic design.My co-workers are usually blown away when they try it out!
