Pure Heat G-0147 Earthstik Flat Iron Pure-Ion Ceramic Styler, 1"

This is my 3rd flat iron in about 12 years. My HAI lasted me 7 years and I paid about $125 for a 1.5inch ceramic plate, the HAI lasted about 6 years (my mom used it for a while before giving it to me) and paid $150 for a 2inch ceramic plate. These two flat irons were awesome and well worth the $ and I would recommend those if you are going to use the iron to straighten all of your hair and dont want to blow dry. The reason I bought the pure heat this time is because I only need it for my bangs because I use the Chi Nano ceramic ion hair dryer to straighten my hair ( I have seen ZERO split ends and my hair looks A LOT healthier and take less than 10 minutes to straighten). The Pure Heat works great to straighten just your bangs, but I dont think I would use it ever to straighten all of my hair it seems like it would take forever.

I normally do not go out of my way to do my hair until recently. I have naturally straight hair but I just cut about 8 inches off and have somewhat of a bob that is longer in the front. It looks awesome but will all the hair i have it can look rather puffy and childish if i do not calm it down. So i had to suck it up and get a straightener. It is important to me that all the products i use have the least amount of impact on the planet. The fact that the product itself is made out of recycled plastic and the packaging is made from recycled cardboard and is recyclable. All pluses in my book. I also wanted the straightener to straighten my hair without line or bumps or snagging my hair.I totally lucked out. It made my hair look just like my stylist does, its eco-friendly and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. This is a wonderful product. Please give it a try.

Received my straightener and i didn't work. Looks like a good one, but if something doesn't work in the first place chances are it will break down the road. several other feedbacks have been the same situation. i wanted to be green, but it just didn't pan out! :(

My first order of the Earthstik was returned because it did not function at all, however I didn't give up on trying this Eco Friendly tool!PROS: I love how hot it gets, that is essential for straightening my wavy hair. It also does a great job of creating loose curls. Lastly, OMG the swivel cord. It makes styling unbelievably more pleasant!CONS: Because it gets so hot it's hard to hold any part of it other than the handle when it's heated. This is a problem when creating curls since you need to hold the opposite end. So far I've been trying to avoid it or touching it very quickly, but you definitely can't keep your fingers on it long.If you are sick of your too cool, tangled straightener, I would definitely give this a shot! Plus it's good for the environment, yay!

I purchased this item and it didn't work. I sent it back and purchased another one and it went on but didn't heat up. I dont know if the product sux or if amazon keeps sending me defected ones. I wouldnt recommend anyone to purchase this!!!!!!!

I love this straightner, here's why: it warms up fast, the blinking light helps remind me to turn it off, it doesn't pull or tug, and it also is a GREEN item so it helps save the earth. If you are looking for a better straightner than what you can get at your local walmart for 20, 30 bucks, but really don't want to spend close to 100 for one . . . this is a happy medium.**This review is after using it for 2.5 months**

I ordered this product b/c I entered "Cordless, Battery operated" hair straightener. This is not cordless or battery operated so now I have to go thru the hassle of returning it and ordering something else.

I needed a new flat iron and didn't have much to spend. Figured I'd give this one a shot. It as the right price and I liked the fact that it was a "green" product.I have very wavy hair, it's actually pretty curly underneath and it works incredibly well. My hair is smooth and shiny and it didn"t take long to straighten at all. I would definately recommend this and purchase the same one again if need be.
