This is a great travel BCD. Compact and appears to be good quality. Only thing is that it doesn’t have a ridged back tank mounting plate. If you don’t have a strong back this is not for you. If you do and you travel this is perfect

I Love how packable this bcd is. This is my second one. And I’m glad I purchased this: long info: bought my first one in 2019 as I prepped for an Egypt dive trip. Packed great. Functioned great. The cons were the pockets. So far back with zipper oriented from back to front using the pockets was problematic. But I made it work with zip ties extending the zipper handles. I used it a lot also in Channel Islands. Great bcd.COVID dampered my diving a lot and while prepping recently for a trip that was originally planned for 2021 I decided to get the next size up. Per Cressi I was still in the range for the small that I had but I know I gained weight and always felt that I was maxing my bcd as it was before weight gain…. What a difference the medium made!!! Everything else is still the same so I can find all that I need with muscle memory (ie: dump valves etc) And: the pockets now actually work! I think cressi under sizes what you need. I should have had a medium all along.All that to say I’ve purchased it twice and would do it again. I love having my own bcd out of country and this packs so well and still manages the harsh conditions of local diving as well.

This is a great option if you are traveling with your equipment. It's not too heavy, and is well made. I love it.

Perfect for avid travelers that need compact and lightweight features. I’ve used it a few times while cruising around the Caribbean and now I am taking it farther to South America! Great product, and I love all the extra rings!-- Update May/2024: While this BCD is great for light traveling, I am upgrading it for a more sturdy BCD from Mares instead due to the fact that the for being very lightweight it also doesn't support much weight itself and I feel not secure attaching a professional camera and housing to this BCD as it makes it shift in position while under water.

Fantastic BCD. Great tank security. I'm a busty 5 ft 7 medium sized woman, and it's so adjustable... I feel super comfortable underwater. Pockets are roomy, plenty of attachment points. Dries quickly. Easy controls. I'm in love with this one.

Inflator hose leaked right out of the box (while out of the country) which could have ruined the trip, but fortunately they had an extra. Also tank buckle is rusting, even when rinsed after each dive day. Have tried to contact Cressi 4x but zero response. While BCD is ok, would recommend going with a company that provides better support.

Il punto forte del GAV è la possibilità di piegarlo in modo che occupi poco spazio nei bagagli per le immersioni lontane. Questo è il motivo per cui l'ho comperato.Il fatto che possa occupare poco posto perchè manca lo schienalino rigido è indubbiamente vero ma il bello arriva quando uno si chiede: e allora cosa manca.La risposta è: nulla!E' uno splendido GAV con due tasche enormi dove trova posto un pedagno grande senza problemi.Ha due contenitori estraibili per la zavorra e due tasche, sempre per la zavorra, nella parte posteriore.A mio avviso se vi serve un GAV per viaggiare va benissimo ma è molto bello anche se non si viaggia!!

C'était un cadeau pour mon fils. Un succès. Il est très satisfait. L'équipement est ajusté à son goût. J'aimerais offrir quelque chose de similaire à sa femme mais je ne le trouve pas dans vos offres.

This is the mk2, I bought it without hesitation as I had the mk1 for around 8/9 years and it had done around 750 dives. It was still working perfectly but showing it age, so I treated myself to a new one.
