More of a permanent lighting than mobile
I got these with the intention of using them for lighting accent, not illumination, and they do that. It's a warm light that isn't very bright. Being battery powered they're portable and I can use them for outdoor photography easily, however, they tangle very easily. Set it and forget it they'd be fine, but if you're going to be moving them around a lot they will get knotted and tangled very easily, I'm not sure what that will mean for longevity yet.

I expected these to last at least one season, however even though these tiny lights have a 3 pack of batteries on them, they barely lasted a week. Not for continuous use longer than a few days.
