I bought this sound machine because I struggle to sleep and stay asleep. I'd just about tried everything else, so I gave this a try.Sound: The volume can get very loud which is good if you have a big space, but for simply sitting next to it at my desk, I can turn it way down and it does not overwhelm. There are a lot of sounds. Many have mentioned repeats, which some are, but they are varieties of say rain and water sounds, or like a faster flowing fan sound vs a slower one. I appreciate that because we're all individuals and maybe like slow fan sounds don't work for you, but fast do, type of thing.Timer: there are 4 options available, 30 mins, 60mins, 2hrs, and continuous use. I specifically bought this for the continual use, because I struggle to stay asleep and I didn't want to wake up, there's no sound going, have to get up, and start it back up, so this is great in that I can just let it run until I turn it off, or if I ever need a shorter time, I can set it for that.Remote: is great. You've already settled into bed, you don't want to get up to turn it on/off or pick a new sound, use the remote from your bed or whatever as long as you have line of sight with the sound machine.Look: I bought the gray/white one. I didn't really care about the look, but it has a nice clean look to it, Design is simple with easy to understand buttons.Use: super easy to use. I mean kids can use this no problem.Overall: It has helped me sleep. It just creates this nice vacuum of sound to blur out any background noises and gives me something to focus on to bring me back in to sleep. I also work from home, so having some sound to focus my mind while working is great, and I can quickly shut it off during calls and resume right back where I started after. It is easy to use, works really well, great sounds, 10/10.

This is an excellent sound machine, especially because it has a remote. The only downside is that If you find a particular sound You like and then you go to other sounds, It’s hard/tricky to get back to the one you liked. It is great that there’s a lot of variety of sounds and they range from very loud to softer. It works very well!

It claims to have so many sounds, but most of them are the same. Who needs 14 different fan noises or 12 different white noises, they all mostly sound the same. The ocean sounds are disappointing, very tinny sounding. I only use the zen and nature categories, they're not bad. This unit is very pricey to me since I only use the two categories. I would send it back BUT having a remote with it is awesome and is the only reason I'm keeping it. I can switch between crickets and birds at the push of a remote button.

I didn't think this would help me sleep, but I needed to try it. It does helps me fall asleep and return back to sleep. It's not too big, so I take it with me when traveling. The challenge was finding the best sound for me from many different choices.

This is a wonderful product! It is easy to use and has plenty of sounds to chose from! If looking for a white noise machine this is a perfect choice!

This is great for mental health clinicians who need white noise for confidentiality reasons but do not want to play/listen to the same white noise all day, every day. The remote works well and the sound, volume can be adjusted as needed.

Very poor quality sound to the point it will annoy you and keep you up at night. I've bought better quality from Walmart. The white noise sounds don't sound much different from the fan sounds and the fan sounds sound like a bad audio connection as opposed to a fan. Train doesn't sound anything like a loco and I work on trains for a living. Definitely not worth the $20 I spent and will probably be returning it. Bought to help with the fluctuating shifts on the railroad but I think I'm having an easier time listening to my neighbors video gaming 24/7 and the random side shows. Edit: 1 star, was trying to be nice cause it had a remote. The merchant messaged me and was weird. Wanted to do a partial refund. I was willing buy the competition and compare before making a decision. Now I'm unwilling to keep this garbage product. The quality is horrible. Please listen to the 1 star reviews, as they are accurate and truthful. Thank God I have a competitors product coming and I read all the reviews on this critically acclaimed item on Amazon and off Amazon. Which I failed to do for this product. Total waste of time and energy.

I had to reduce my rating soon after the great review I left. The speaker on this machine starts to make rattling type noises at higher volumes.Excellent sound machine. Good quality, high volume speaker, numerous sounds, a remote control, a cool design with a small base for more placement options, USB or electrical plug. It's nearly perfect. On the wish list is an even lower volume capability, a little better quality on some of the sounds, and a remote that feels as solid and nice as the machine itself.
