First Boy OMG doll
This 2 pack contains the first boy OMG doll so let's start there:Rocker BoiThe boy doll stands at about the same height (maybe slightly taller?) as the girl dolls. His body is similar to, but slightly thicker than a Moxi Boy doll (a doll also made by MGA some years earlier). He has some abs but is not overly ripped. He is articulated at the head, arms, elbows, ankles and wrists. His feet are flat footed. His feet and hands both have great sculpting that is different from the ladies. He has bend and snap knees. His head sculpt is also slightly different, including big, pouty lips which some may not like, but works fine for me. He has long hair, that feels nice and is well rooted.Punk GrrrlPunk Grrl has a new eyebrow deisgn unseen on other OMG dolls to date, tanned skin and striking makeup. She has flocking on both sides. Mine had good flocking on both sides. She also has odd little side burn like hairs hanging down at the bottom of the flocking and int he center bands and three ponytails done up in twists. The hair feels like it would be very silky if taken out of its ponytails. Her body is typical of all other OMG dolls with articulation at the head, arms, elbows and wrists. She has bend and snap knees.Clothes and accessoriesTBH, I mostly bought the pair for their clothing! I love the designs for both and they were mostly very good quality. The boy's pants have great detials like back pockets. the belt is attached, not seperate. The cloth is spandex and so is stretchy, but it doesn't cling to the doll. Its easy to take on and off. The jacket is fun and in the back says "Iron BB" in a fun nod to the band Iron Maiden (which was clearly the design inspiration for Rocker Boi). The scarf is pretty thick and malable actually. I liked it. The shirt has a great design that says in blue print "Louder! Louder! Louder!" however, it is made of incredibly thin material- the kind likely to disolve in water. It is also designed to have the hems showing and thus is very loosely sewn together. Mine also had a tear in the lower part of the shirt (on the doll's left hand side). After talking to others who have gotten this doll it appears the tear is on purpose. The girl's clothing is well made! The skirt makes me think of Alexander Queen and seems very punk. The jacket is likewise very well made is less punk inspired. Her top, for being as scanty as it is, is actually really well put together. It feels sturdy if the doll owner was into redressing dolls, they wouldn't tear it. The red socks and pink shoes seem a bit of a style mystery to me, but are both well made. Both the boy and girl have metallic jewelry that was impressively real looking for doll accessories. They also came with guitars that were likewise impressive for doll accessories. They had separate straps, and painted details and felt smooth tot he touch, not cheap. Stands for both dolls were included. They look like the stands for all OMG dolls.Packaging and musicOMG dolls always have fun packaging that seem like they could be reused for playsets or even display purposes with a little DIYing. However, this box can lay flat and has two drawers that slide out on either side, so it could also be reused for storage. I like how reusable this is. The box also doubles as something that plays music with two "records." Now, these aren't real records; there's no needle. They are more like those musical greeting cards, except you do have to spin the records around to make them work. Sadly, mine seemed defective. Only the Rocker Boi's side seemed to play music. he song was fairly catchy though, so kids would probably like it.Overall- if you are an OMG collector, these are a great deal, if just to get a boy doll. But even beyond that allure they are well made as any in the doll line (and arguably better than some like the Neon Lights line). For those interested in using clothes for (or from) other doll lines. The boys are skinnier than Ken's and shorter than Monster High boys. So shirts and shorts from Monster High or EAH would work, but pants might be too long for Rocker Boi to wear. Rocker Boi's spandex pants could fit many dolls but will likely be too short. Jacket and Shirts would fit EAH/MH boys and possibly barbies.

Don't wait buy it now !
At the time I am writing this the dolls are marked down to $20.00. That breaks down to $10.00 a doll. That in itself is enough of a deal to make buying this set a "Yes please" moment. Take into consideration both dolls come in complete and detailed outfits, 2 stands, backdrops, accessories, 2 records and a player to play them on is included. There are no batteries to buy everything works right out of the box. I hung the included records on the wall they are so cool. Even if these dolls are not your type the clothes alone are worth the price. Not to mention this is the first LOL boy doll. Did I mention they each come with detailed instruments. They are not like the hollow back instruments that come with other doll brands, we are talking quality here. Everything is of the highest quality and very sturdy and well made. Something to note is the hair on the dolls. The boy's hair is long and luxurious and could be combed and styled. However the girls hair is in an elaborate hair style with flocked sides. Its a cool style and looks great but I am not sure you could take it down and style it. The texture is nice and not cheap but I think it would be a mess if you fooled around with it. You know your child best, would they be ok with a doll whose hair is better off left alone? All in all this is a groundbreaking set with all the bells and whistles and totally worth its original price. I doubt we will ever see the likes of this kind of set again so I recommend getting one or two now before they are gone.

I love this pair. Love the first OMG big brother!
My personal experience with this set: First, the Amazon package, I don't know why but this was enormous, I thought it was empty at first sight, haha, the doll's box was in a corner, maybe it moved a lot while was coming on trip. Fortunately the doll's package was okay, just a little dented in a corner. In general I am happy with my purchase. The box is interesting, the dolls are coming with pretend vinyl discs like the other individual Remix dolls, and also it can playable on the box. The music lyrics are in the little "magazine" on Rocker Boi doll' side.Looking at them, you just can notice they are coming dressed, like the previous OMG Lights, where you have to put on only a few of accessories. The accessories for both dolls are inside the box of Punk Grrrl doll' side. You need to follow the illustration on the main box to see what thing belongs to each doll.Their instruments are not having melodies like the Super Sonix from Super Surprise Remix box. But even so, are well made. What is failing in my set? From Punk Grrrl: Nothing much, just a few details on the make-up, if you can notice in the picture, especially her upper lashes are a little blured in the left eye and is having one more thin extra "eyelash" on each eye which is clearly not part of the original pattern of make-up. And under her lower lip it came dirty with dark paint. The rest of her is cool and okay. From Rocker Boi: I really, really love this guy, I was always attracted by long haired guys, haha. And I appreciate the first OMG brother is having hair and not molded hair. But, his arm joints, are hard to bend in my boy doll, also his neck was a little tilted to the right, fortunately (with all my fear of breaking him.) I forced it a bit to the left and it came out normal. Also, his joints of the hips are a little loose I don't know it's just my doll or is like this on purpose. His lips are the only thing that I don't like much, but for the rest, I love him, I really do. I understand perfectly he's following the line of LOL little brothers, he needs to have these features.Rocker Boi is a guy, and obviously different to OMG girls, is having manly hands and other changes. A little more taller and with ankles you can move, what reminds me of Monster High guys. In general I love my acquisition, they're already with my other OMG doll collection. If you like OMG, you would like to get this set.I am satisfied, thank you!
