I bought the collar cones for my Parrotlet. While I was doubtful about their quality and size at first, I'm happy to report that the quality is good. However, they turned out to be too large for my Parrotlet.

These are cute but not good for pluckers! My Quaker, even the tightest Zi could get it wigh velcro strip she was still able to wiggle the thin fabric down to getti her neck. Blood on the neck of it.I think they are more for looks than anything! There is thin frlt like fabric and thin backing and has no formed stiff interface in it, so easy for bird to push up and pluckCute but a loss for me on this one!

They say anti bite my parrot chewed right through them.

problem is that she can't not move in it and I am concerned she'll drown in her water bowl if I leave her in it.

Purchased the XS size for my cockatiels because it advertised that size for that specific bird...NO, NO, NO!!! WAY TO SMALL FOR A COCKATIEL, and my tiels are on the smaller side. I have ordered a couple different sizes now and hopefully one of them will be the right fit. Otherwise the material is nice... Not sure if the velcro that holds the collar on is going to last long. Will have another review after my birds have used them.

Doesn’t stay on well. Falls off. Gets chewed up easily within a day. Does not prevent plucking. But…. They are supper cute

This is working great for my Caique. She is 18 years old, and had never plucked her feathers before. I was at my wits end. I tried vitamins, spraying her with an aloe vera soothing spray every day, and a product that you put in the water called "pluck no more". None of those things did any good. She loves to be outside, and I knew that she would not have enough feathers and down to keep her warm enough to be outside now that the weather is getting cooler. I followed the size chart and found it to be very accurate. The first day she really fought it, and when I got it on, she just stood at the bottom of her cage and didn't move. Now it is day three, and she still squawks when I am putting it on her, but is much more used to it and moves about her cage more freely. I wasn't sure about leaving it on her at night, but I am going to try it until she breaks the habit of plucking. Providing the physical barrier appears to be working the best.

Purchased for a GCC with an awful plucking problem, these adorable little "capes" were an attempt to protect her from making her chest and abdomen raw. Arrived quickly, usual packaging you'd expect for something which can be laid flat in an envelope.. Once we tried it on the bird, she literally tipped forward. I mean, it would be ever so slightly finny, if it wasn't for this poor little thing being miserable as it was. So, if purchasing for GCC, maybe go with something dramatically LIGHTER than this one.

I don’t often write reviews but wanted to for this product. My cockatiel ended up getting an infected feather under his wing that required antibiotics. The vet gave us a plastic cone but I could tell it was hurting his neck and he kept tripping on it. This felt collar has been way comfier for him. He can fly wearing the collar so keep that in mind if your bird isn’t supposed to fly. But it’s prevented him from chewing on his wing feathers/aggravating the wound. This collar has made a stressful situation with my bird a bit better because I think this is comfier for him to wear. He did chew off the bow and I had to cut some loose strings but other than that no complaints!

Ce collier ne fonctionne pas pour les inséparables. Il est beaucoup trop long et mon inséparable se marche dessus. Il tombe et roule. Il n'a vraiment pas aimé.

They seem ok, but my bird woudnt wear it.Wanted to return it but I'll be charged for shipping so it isnt worth returning.Buyer beware, if you want to buy it you'll be charged shipping charges to return it.So make sure you really want to buy this

Nicer quality than I thought they would be. Got medium size for my Senegal which worked ok but think I should have got smaller as he kept stepping on the edges. Took him a bit to figure out. He did destroy around the neck in one week which was longer than I had expected! Purchased so he wouldn’t chew his leg but he still could. Would probably have worked better if he had been plucking. Will probably order again in smaller size.
