ROCKYMobilite Waterproof Work Boot

These are the best boot ever. This is the third pair of my life. My first pair lasted me from about 12-16. Wore them constantly doing all sorts of farm stuff, motorcycle riding, and mechanic work. I completely destroyed them, then bought another. That pair lasted me over 12 years. Over those 12 years I was going to college and working in manufacturing. The soles are completely smooth but the rest of the boot was perfect. Maybe aside from the sheen. Lol. I had no idea they came in such a dark brown color until I bought this pair from Amazon. The new boots look great. Just plan on breaking them in a bit.I pet sit and walk dogs for a living in Colorado. My new pair of boot have super grip and comfort for all the snow that I walk through. I had the replace the strings though. They are the same strings from my first pair of Rockies, which I replaced with redwing shoestrings if I remember correctly.

I struggle with getting shoes to fit my wide feet. This boot is a square toe and fits my foot great.

I have found rocky to be the only boot that has a toe box and with that fits my feet , huge fan of rocky boots, the quality and stitching have gone down but they still hold up to my needs. I’m on my feet six to seven days a week and the have held up and have outlasted many other name brands.

These boots are overall good boots. I did the try before you buy option but didn’t keep them. These boots would have been my second pair of boots from Rocky but the pair I got had to small of a toe box.

These are the only boots I found without a steel toe that are designed with an oblique toe box. They fit surprisingly well right out of the box, but I used a shoe stretcher to speed up the breaking in process for my unusually shaped left foot. I haven't tested them extensively, but these are the first boots that I've tried on ever that fit snugly and yet don't hurt my toes. And I like the look.There evidently is a waterproof membrane underneath the leather, but I haven't been able to find out from the manufacturer if it needs any care. The manufacturer recommends a light coat of mink oil every 6 months to protect the leather.

For the past five years I have been wearing Rocky boots, I like them because of durability and comfort. ShoeMetro sent me the wrong size, so I went to the Post Office paid 26 dollars in order to return them for an even exchange. the boots they sent me look like someone wore them at least 6 months, the left shoe did not quite match the right one, the shoe polish they tried to use to make them look new left some spots. I would like to question the person that put those shoes in the box as a new pair. I do not recommend anyone to buy from ShoeMetro.

Rocky has done a fine job with this boot. The hook eyelets have been updated. The toe box (even though a steel toe) and width are generous. The tongue and collar are padded and very comfortable. All stitching and the welt are stout.

This is like my fourth or fifth pair of these same bootsI get about 2 years out of them and that’s with wearing them 98% of the time. I rarely wear anything else.I tried to be cheap and order a different brand. In fact I ordered 3 different brands and ended up returning them all.From now on I’ll be sticking with these.
