Tempo Meat Loaf Mix, 12-Count Box of 2.75-Ounce Packets

We ordered 12 packs of meatball and 12 packs of meatloaf instead we got 24packs of meatball mix . My mother-in-law is not happy because of the order Screw up , and for me that is not good..

This is the best meatloaf mix around!!

After trying it myself, I was amazed. but the real test was still to come. i made a meat loaf dinner for my Mom and Dad and we were all aware of Mom's Meatloaf. Then they reluctantly decided to try it., Then dad asked mom why her meatloaf did not taste like this. The same happened with a friend and his wife who we invited over for dinner. When he asked what was on the menu, We said Meatloaf. I could tell they were a little disappointed. but when they started in they asked for seconds, He told his mom about dinner and she could not believe that he ate it and told us about it at church. But the best is a recipe that I came up with for leftovers. Take the leftover meatloaf and cut into cubes and add a jar of Bartoli's Rustico sauce with green peppers, Don't even bother with the pasta, all you need is some good garlic bread and you will be licking the plate.

I have been using this mix for over 30 years. My husbands favorite. I add either tomato sauce or soup to the top for the last 10+ minutes. You may not want to know this but I make it for my retired greyhounds when they are not feeling well or when they get old. They have never turned it down. I started this many years old with a very shy greyhound. It brought her out and gave her something to look forward to because she was a poor eater. Her name was Cupid. To this day, we still call it "Cupie Loaf" after her. She lived until she was 16, the last year mostly on her Cupie Loaf. I also make it regularly for my friend's greyhounds in similar circumstances and it always works.

I have purchased this line ( tempo) for many years. The seasoning is perfect by itself or with a/squeeze of ketchup.The secret to my meatloaf is last 10 minutes I drain off excess grease from ml pan then add a mixture of zucchini relish, brown sugar and ketchup…equal parts. It’s scrumptious ❤️

Hope anyone who purchases this item has their own assortment of spices. Don't know if this was manufactured for people with heart or digestive issues, but there must be some reason for the lack of flavor. Had to add salt and pepper to give it any taste at all. The mix also contains bread crumbs which I think is a waste of space as I personally use potato chips instead. Anyway all I can add is that unless one likes to prepare their own spice mix be prepared for a very bland meatloaf.

Makes great meatloaf, with a packet of onion soup / dip mix it makes great hamburgers and meatballs too
