Very nice gift. My grandson loved it. The leather container and antique look is high value. I thought it a bit pricey at first but I am happy with my purchase.

Not the quality I was expecting. Compass is cheap. I know it's for show but ..... the leather case is nice and the fob seems to be built fairly well. Of course I bought it for the sentiment, so it will be just fine.

I love the engraved inspirational words on the back and it can be engraved inside or on the cover. It appear to be made of brass. The compass is not impressive, but it does work and looks old and antique. The chain and loop fits the antique look and feel of an old style compass. I don't like that the compass cover is hard to open; I mean really hard. I oiled it once and it was still hard. Fortunate it is made of brass, so it should be okay. Nevertheless, I give it a 4 star rating because of the cover being hard to open.

I got this for my son just for fun, he is interested in survival and compasses and I thought this was a fun one. The faux-leather case it comes in is cute and is great for gifting.The compass itself works and there is a button you can hold down to lock the compass in place. It's pretty hard to open the case though and the chain feels kind of old and tarnished (I know it's supposed to look old but it feels kind of cheap and used too).Overall this is decent for a fun little gift. If you are looking for a high functioning compass this is not it. I also think the quality is a bit low for what you are getting here.

Good, but the chain broke the moment my son took it out of the wrapped package. And the hour glass keychain is novelty only. Like a Millisecond glass really and the glass doesnt fit into the holder well. Honestly was a bit disappointed in this product. Will not be reordering. The pouch that holds the compass is also exttemely cheaply made almost like laminated cardboard. Not overly impressed overall.
