A great system!
I worked for over 20 years in a developing country and used this type of water system. It worked great and is very easy to clean and maintain. It will continually provide a good flow of clean water. No need for electricity or any mechanical parts that might fail. It is simple, but a very effective system. I bought it here in the US just to have for an emergency situation.

Help in an emergency
I have not actually looked at it. But I spoke with the manufacturer. This seems to be a good way of making the water purifier last longer, especially in an emergency.

Item is security and serves as a ease to mind
Good item to have, in case...not as pretty as overpriced alternative but that only matters if you showing off what have.

Works but very slow
I do like the product but I am disapointed as to how slow it really is. At best we can clean about 5 gallons a day using clean rainwater that we capture.

DO NOT BUY!!
I wanted to try this and see if it would actually last a year as advertised. It did not, it stopped working after 6 weeks of just tap water running through it. I contacted the company twice through email and they blew me off and wouldn’t respond. Total waste of money if there’s an emergency!! Also this falsely advertises it filters a gallon an hour and it does not. I could only get it to run 2-3 gallons per day! I cleaned out every part to see if something was clogged and it just stopped working entirely. Don’t waste your money, it won’t get you far in emergencies!

Replacement filters will cost as much as unit.
done ok till I had to try and find replacement filters. filters cost as much as re purchase. now I use it as an expensive slop bucket.

Low System Volume
Just returned from a week in Quebec on a gin clear lake and depending upon this system to provide drinking water. We averaged ~1-2 gal/day of clean water, great quality but not close to the advertised volume. We kept the system "topped off" at all times, but the volume wasn't there. I will not use it again.
