Bought these for handgun mounting, which works very well, but I keep finding more and more uses for these. Like the fact that there is 3M tape on the back if you don’t/can’t use the screws to attach the magnet. Will be buying more of these than I’d like to admit.

I use these mostly for sticking stuff to metal storage cabinets without marring the cabinet. I screw however many magnets I think I need to a piece of wood, attach whatever I want to hang from the cabinets to the opposite side of the wood, and then stick the magnets to the side of the cabinet. So far they're doing an excellent job on everything from a lightweight phone-charging Mag-Safe rig to a largish wall-clock to a very heavy (multi-pound) power strip. I have been using these this way for several years now, and keep buying more. Beats drilling holes in my cabinets! There really isn't much you can't stick to a cabinet or fridge or whatever using this method. You just have to use enough magnets to support the weight.

The adhesive tape does not hold. You have to drill into panel if you want it to stay.
