Part of an overall strategy
I am someone who has had a wicked headache in Denver, almost couldn’t get off the tram at the top of Pike’s peak, and got seasick on a local ferry. So when I planned my recent trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona I didn’t want to risk the possibility of feeling less than ideal. In my quest to avoid altitude sickness, I did a variety of things. I wish I knew which were the keys to my success, but I can tell you I felt fine the whole trip. This is what I did: 1. Drank copious amounts of water, starting a few days before the trip. 2. Took ibuprofen first thing in the morning, and sometimes during the day if I felt the slightest bit of a headache. 3. Added electrolytes [Liquid IV Hydration Multiplier Vegan Powder Electrolyte Supplements--Strawberry Lemonade] to my water once or twice a day. It honestly didn’t taste great, but I think it helped. 4. Took HUMANX Altitude Assist one pill 3x day. 5. Wore MQ Motion Sickness Patch. Maybe overkill, but it worked!!

Never felt the effects of Altitude Sickness
This product worked great on my trip to Nepal to trek the Annapurna Mountain Range with peaks as high as 18000ft. I took it 3x/day along with wearing the patches and using electrolytes in my water. I typically get headaches above 13000 ft, so was really worried. Altitude Assist saved the trip.

Worked great for awhile
This worked great in Colorado at 6600 feet but when we spent afternoon in Telluride which is 9000, altitude got me. I’d recommend trying it. I usually get a headache in Denver at 5200 feet so it worked for me at lower altitudes.

no dizziness on my hike around Mt Blanc
Took this every day for one week prior to my trip and during the trip. I get alt sickness very easily so even though the highest we hiked was 9k ft above sea level, I knew if I did not have these, I'd get a bad headache. Did not feel any symptoms at all throughout the hike where we would gain/lose 3-5k feet everyday with steep tiring inclines requiring high O2 intake.

worked so so.
It worked to me, but not to my son.

Made me sick
I tried this product to prevent me from getting altitude sickness while in Colorado. I followed the directions and started taking it while still at home and discovered that they were making me sick. I would feel sick to my stomach and sort of flu-ish after taking the product for a day. Then would stop and feel better within 1-2. I tried this routine 3 times before realizing it was definitely correlating with this product. I'm a nurse and am used to monitoring for drug reactions (as a hospital nurse). Having looked at the ingredients in this product, there appears to be a high dose of Ginkgo Biloba. I'm guessing this is what's making me sick and I will never take again. Just a reminder that these ARE medications that come with side effects! I'm just glad I didn't take it on vacation! ( For those looking for the magic to avoid altitude sickness, we drank tons of water, also added fluids with electrolytes, increased to higher altitudes slowly ( 24 hrs in Denver, then 24 hrs in Estes park, then 3rd day went to 12,000 feet in the Rockies) We could feel a little breathlessness at 12,000 ft but overall acclimated well without medication or any issues.

Customer for life! I will never travel without this!
I don’t typically write reviews but I have to say I realized I was prone to altitude sickness when I was almost in the hospital going to Tahoe. I recently went to Aspen and swore I would never go through that again so I purchased altitude assist. This absolutely hands-down works wonders I did not get sick the entire trip the first day I definitely felt the altitude and it had me slightly nauseous but nothing nearly compared to how sick I was at half the elevation in Tahoe. Don’t hurt your body with the pharmaceutical crap definitely grab this on your next trip if you’re prone to altitude sickness!!

WORKS!!!
Last year I went to Colorado and experienced bad altitude sickness. I love Colorado and it's beauty but flatlanders can really suffer from the high altitude! I ordered Altitude Assist and also got a prescription from my Dr. Not really wanting to take medicine I opted to try Altitude Assist first...IT WORKED!!! I felt fine and had an amazing trip. I never took the prescription. I was able to hike and even have a drink (alcohol). I did stay well hydrated and purchased Oxygen.
