Holy Hanna! This Stuff Is SO HOT!
(Skip to the bottom for specifics on Hot Ones Last Dab Apollo)Oh wow! I'm a huge fan of the Hot Ones show. But, I am a complete wuss when it comes to hot sauces!! Cholula and Tabasco were as far as I would go.We decided, one day, to buy all of the sauces from Season 15, and completely recreate the experience for ourselves. What I wanted out of this, was a few things;1. To go through the total experience (including doing "The Last Dab" of Apollo)2. Have the bragging rights.3. (And most importantly) be exposed to new hot sauces that weren't just a painful experience, but had some really excellent flavors, as well!Previously, whenever I had tried "hot wings" out someplace, the sauces were always horrid tasting, and unbearably hot.I will say this, I really loved the Hot Ones Classic starter sauce, and the 6 sauces that came after it; 'Jala Peppa', 'Los Callientes Barbacoa', 'Ginger Goat', 'High Desert Tikk Masala', and 'Tomasa'.The the last 3 'Da Bomb', 'Scorpion Disco' & The Last Dab Apollo' were bitter, horrible tasting, and sheer torture for someone with my limited heat experience! We were prepared, however; having plenty of ice water, drinkable yogurt, and two milkshakes (each), ready, at hand.Even so, we were constantly drinking and spitting out our various antidotes, and they barely helped!I'll be 100% honest, here and say thatwith the last 3 sauces, we only chewed the wings up, then spat them out. When it came to putting the last dab of Apollo Last Dab, that was the last nail in the coffin! All hyperbole aside, I actually felt my throat start to close off from what little of Apollo I actually did wind up swallowing. Not sure if it was an allergic reaction, or just my body's reaction to the sauce.I count myself lucky that I spat the majority out! That said, would I go through it again, knowing what I know now? Absolutely!

So much flavor!
Great hot sauce. Amazing, unique flavor. Not the hottest I’ve ever had but still really hot.

Flavorful… I LUV it.
I shall no longer look for a hot sauce with great flavor… I’ve found it. Absolutely love this.

It’s hot!
With it containing pepper x, I thought this would be super hot, but it wasn’t over the top as far as heat goes, and the flavor was pretty decent too

Definitely very hot
Definitely very hot, but actually has good flavor, despite it being so hot. I don't recommend putting it on your food in a week night if you have work/ school the next morning. Your next day will be hell if you over do it.

A little too thick but great taste
I'm a huge fan of Hot Ones (much like everyone else here I suppose). The flavor is awesome. I love the sweet tangy richness of it.Followed by the lovely hot kick. It's not the spiciest hottest sauce out there..Johnny Scoville drinks an entire bottle of it (don't try that he's a pro) he liked the taste but also agreed it's not the hottest. He's said that Exhorresco Hot Sauce X-Hot is hotter to him..But I don't buy hot sauce JUST for the pain. I like putting it on everything!Tacos, burritos, eggs, curry, chili, chicken (wings and breasts).... I'm telling you, it gives a good hit of spice to elevate anything you're cooking..Being 36, my stomach and intestines have become more sensitive sadly.I only put a dab on a taco and spread it, like half a dime size..You must respect the spice!.He who controls the spice controls the universe!.Stay spicy my friends, and grab a bottle of this stuff. It's a little expensive, but hey $26 isn't too much to at least try it.It's $4 cheaper on their official website (with shipping) FYI ;)

Tastes pretty good
got some decent heat to it not nearly as hot as da bomb Beyond insanity but I can say it tastes way better but the vinegar and ginger almost overpowers the taste of the pepper has a sweetness to it

Pure heat, tread carefully
So for years, my go to sauce was Puckerbutt Company's Reaper Squeezins. Apollo is far hotter than that iconic sauce, and the heat burns for a good 20-40 minutes. Care Bears taught me sharing is caring, and I think they would've made an exception to this rule with that sauce. I haven't tasted close to this level of heat since Mad Dog's 44 Magnum and The Toe of Satan. I highly recommend this to spicy veterans; since anyone else eating this without knowledge of its power, falls under human rights violations.Be careful with how much you use. This sauce is known for escalating more than a bad cop from the Deep American South. 10/10 sauce, one that I can give to most people that demand something "spicier". The flavor goes with most dishes, however, your results may vary
