MyQ Smart Garage Door Opener Chamberlain MYQ-G0301 & Chamberlain Group myQ Smart Garage Hub Add-on Door Sensor MYQ-G0302 (Works with MYQ-G0301 and 821LMB Only)

Well I am one of the one star reviewers unfortunately. Really wanted this to work because my neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods have been hit by a wave of porch pirates! We wanted the Smart Garage to help us get our packages delivered safely in our garage.Device came packaged nicely and all the contents were there. The MyQ felt cheap in way, you could tell that there is a lot space/volumes that is unnecessary to encapsulate the electronics. Anyways, got the app downloaded and installed, and had tried to pair it the MyQ device and that is where nothing worked. Probably tried to figure it out for 45 minutes, but didn't get anywhere. Didn't bother calling customer service, just packed it back up and requested a return through Amazon. I really wanted this to work. Coming from a software/firmware developer, I'd expected a system to be of easy use. I will admit that maybe I should have been more patient and asked for help, but a product in partnership with Amazon should be at the least decent.

After 8 hours of speaking with chamberlain tech support, the device only works intermittently. It is hopelessly unreliable.

I would love to rate this 5* but it beeps very very loud and has a strobe like for 10 seconds before closing. They should give you the option to turn those off or not last as long. They say it's for safety but the garage doors all already have sensors on them. Besides that the door notifications about door openings and closings are usually pretty late but that's pretty nit picky. Overall they work pretty well and I would recommend it to a friend

Product never operated right from the start. Called customer service for help- they did their best. Ended up throwing it in the garbage.

I install a lot of wireless smart home equipment, it is my job. I've attempted to install these more than 20 times now and I can honestly say DO NOT BUY. If it works at all, it will randomly open neighbors garages and seemingly always opens the wrong door. But it will most likely not work at all. This is by such a massive landslide one of the worst pieces of technology I have EVER seen. DO NOT BUY.

This product simply does not work. I spent 5 hours with installation and tech support in cold weather and the thing never worked. Tech support said the battery was low so I bought fresh new ones, installed and still did not work.I definitely would not recommend this product.

You really need a reliable wifi connection in your garage to use this. My garage door opener didnt want to connect at first, but eventually did. I think this was just because of my wifi being spotty at that time. But it's been great. I granted access to my gf's phone so she can use it. I can open my door any time. The app also specifies if the door is open or closed too.

I purchased these to setup and integrate with my smart home setup. Of course they don’t broadcast very well that you need a separate bridge to make all of this work, and potentially a yearly subscription too. Otherwise you have to go into the application to open the door, which is pointless as it would take less time to use a garage door opener. What’s the point of the hub if it can interact with your phone and app, but somehow lacks the ability to be found on your network, or integrate with any smart assistants. Terrible development in the application. Not even remotely user friendly. You use the chat feature and the agents send you links to see what they are referring to, but if you click on it. It takes you away from the chat completely and haven’t found a way to get back to the chat yet. All around terrible design and development. Going to throw this hardware in the trash and buy another two Nexx systems. They work, and they integrate with Alexa. I’m normally pretty easy to please, but this was a huge bust.
