Shu Uemura Color Luster Cool Blonde Shade Reviving Balm, 6.8 oz.

I really thought this was gonna be a fake. Would have bet money it was gonna be a fake, it’s $20 less here than everywhere els.This is NOT a fake, it delivered and then some. My hair is an almost platinum blonde. It’s a darker yellow than your usual pale blonde after bleaching, even fresh out of the salon I can’t ever seem to get my hair to the white color I’ve been wanting... this got me there. I think after my next appt next month I’ll finally be able to pull it off with the help of this. Holy platinum bro.I’ve tried literally everything, I have a few spots in my hair that just don’t tone and although this didn’t banish those spots, it helped a lot, more than literally every thing els I’ve tried. I have tried christoph robins shades mask, perfect blonde by pravana,the entire line. Oribe’s purple line which I like but it’s more luxury than brass banishing, not very heavy duty but it’s a great shampoo for maintenance, I’ve tried Kerastase purple mask, I’ve tried b unique’s purple mask, dude I have tried it ALL ( that’s not even all of it ) this topped all of them. I think what I liked the best is it’s got the conditioning benefits but it’s the consistency of a shampoo ( minus the lather) so for me starting at the root ( my problem area) and working it down to the tips very easily. 5 minutes is all it needs.Bottom line, this is worth the money, I was willing to pay saphoras price to try it but amazon is selling the real deal for $20 cheaper. Again I’ll admit I was skeptical but this is the real deal .

This product will be in all of my blonde sister's Christmas stockings! I received it a couple of days ago and I tried it out same day. The results are fabulous, better than expected! I was hating my yellowy blond color, which still seemed too yellow even after a new highlighting touch up. This product really took that out of the picture in one application, and I have nice whitish, cool blonde tones again (more ashy purple tone, but no worries- there is no trace of actual purple or of green or anything else except blonde). I was a little freaked out by just how dark the purple was as I applied it to my wet hair, so after I had applied it and combed it through, I rinsed it out pretty quickly. I couldn't have had it on for more than 3 minutes total. I actually missed a few strands in the middle of my head, towards the ends because I was in such a hurry to rinse it out (my hair is very thick and sometimes even water takes a while to penetrate through). I can see the difference in the spot that I missed. It's subtle, but I can tell. I wouldn't have missed the spot if I hadn't been in such a hurry to rinse it all out again. Next time, I will slow down a little bit and get it all, now that I know my hair won't turn purple. This product is way better than using toner and more developer on already highlighted, fragile hair. It does seem to condition the hair a little bit as well as tone. Highly recommended.

I received this yesterday. I spent a year growing out virgin hair from a buzz cut to a bob and had it ombred from my natural (dark dirty blonde) to BlONDE (I pull a lot of brassy yellow tones) a couple weeks ago and was already regretting the damage. I have course hair naturally not "nice" wavy hair. Holy smokes the shine after one use. 1 EFFING use. It's thick like acrylic paint, it's opaque purple. In shower normal shampoo, stuck my head out towel dried, slathered purple amazing goop on my head, hopped back in shower went about doing my normal shower duties, 10 minutes (roughly 3 songs) rinsed it out. Noticed as I rinsed my hair felt better than my virgin hair, better than any deep conditioning BS I've tried. Air dried, styled, out the door. Not gross dingy ashy, not yellow, not brassy. Holy smokes gorgeous. I got close to 50 complements today from strangers. This is now a holy grail product for when I'm blonde. So far, the price tag is worth it. If I can skip toning treatments and hair damage/price from them for this silky gorgeousness it waaaaaay wins.

The absolute best for blonde hair! Softens and brightens. A little pricey but worth it. Its so good that I am afraid to even post how good it is so it does not sell out again!

I LOVE this stuff. It definitely, 100% does work to tone my hair to a cooler blonde shade. There are a few flaws though...- I have to leave it in for 1.5-3 hours for it to work to the best of its ability, and the whole time I have to have a towel around my neck so I don't get blue stuff all over my neck.- Blue stuff gets everywhere if you're not careful.- The effect disappears completely after (usually) one wash and definitely after a couple washes, so you just have to live with brassy hair until you have the time to do it again.I am a repeat buyer though and it does work.

My hairdresser recommended this after I went back to blonde from brown/auburn. I got a balayage dye job so my roots were more prone to getting too warm, especially when it's slightly dirty. Golden tones that I didn't want kept creeping back in, even after an additional toning at the salon. He was honest in saying that this product is MORE effective than a salon-mixed professional toner (and I go to a shmancy salon in Beverly Hills, I cannot afford numerous appointments just for toning!). I left it on a bit longer than recommended and not only did it cool down my blonde, it made it incredibly soft and healthy feeling, and I air dry my short (just below my ears) fine hair! It's pricey for sure but if you are needing to constantly cool down any warm tones this is definitely the most effective over store bought products. I also use Shimmering Lights shampoo which also helps!!!

I recommend this product to everyone!! As someone who has been blonde for years and can’t stand the thought of yellow hair this is the holy grail product. One use (15min application sometimes longer if I really need some TLC) and my hair looks salon fresh! This keeps my hair from looking dull and brassy. I tell everyone to buy this because they ask what my secret is! I use this probably once a month to keep my hair looking white. Also it smells AMAZING!! If you’re looking for a hair mask that can solve all your brassy problems this is it!

I'm naturally ash blonde and this is the only product I've used (and I've tried a lot) that keeps ash blonde color fresh and natural. Tried it in countries with hard water like France and Italy with great results. Works even better in countries with soft water! Be aware not to leave it in for too long as brittle hair can soak up the purple color. If you're tired of having your hair turn to yellow, this is your product!

For me the best product for reviving light blondes

The balm works well! I have a little darker shade of blonde, so I think it'll work even better on an even lighter shade.
