Yes, polyester is a synthetic linen. I know that, but then if I wanted the synthetic version of linen, I would have looked for polyester shirts. I’m going to come back to post the tag that says “100% polyester “ on my “linen” shirt they advertised. It’s a rip off, shirt does not have the soft feel of linen, they got me but I will NEVER buy anything from these scam artist again. Save your money, look for a linen, cotton blend and go with a name brand. Amazons brand is a cheaper cotton, linen blend, but it’s not a straight up lie as this company has done

So I bought a linen shirt but what I got was a 100% polyester shirt. It says that on the tag and feels like polyester. I had read other people's review that they got theirs's mixed up, I was surprised that the seller would get it so wrong. Just returned it.

I was attracted by the brilliant French Blue color with white buttons, slim fit, and linen material--perfect summer shirt. But it was not linen (it was 100% polyester--even says so on the label inside), and it shrank at least two sizes. I'm not exaggerating. It shrank two full sizes, something I thought was impossible for polyester, or even for cotton. Now I'm debating whether it's worth my time to send it back for a refund. I probably would if I had saved the packaging, because $29.99 is a lot of money to pay for a shirt I can never wear. But live and learn, they say. I've lost trust in Coofandy, and it's a shame because I really like their designs.

I normally wear large, size 42 size shirts. I wanted a bit tighter fit and without an undershirt, medium size fits fine. The material is more smooth polyester with a bit of a shine. In the picture it looks like there's some white fine threads, but in real life it's just solid color. Picture looks linen...real life looks like cheap shiny polyester.

This is a great shirt for big guys who want the slim fit look. If you're used to a shirt parachuting after your chest, and want a tailored-like shirt at a good price, this shirt is for you. I'm 6'2 275 with shoulders and chest much wider than my barrel mid section and this shirt worked great for me. Material is of decent quality, can be washed and air dried although I find dry clean with a medium starch is the way to go.

Do not dry it even on low heat. It shrank so much that it looked like a ladies small. My husband never even got to wear it. Overall the style looks nice. It’s itchy and apparently a shrinking nightmare. We bought it for family pics and it would have been great so if you are doing the same… just don’t wash or dry it and expect to throw it in the trash after.

Just got mine delivered today, and sure, a lot of people on here were correct in saying that this isn't a 100% linen shirt as "advertised," but rather a 65/35 blend of polyester and polynosic. (How do I know that? Because it's in the product description, guys -- that's why I put "advertised" in quotations; it's not false advertising if they tell you upfront in the product details that it's not actual linen.)But apart from that, honestly? Unless you wore this in public and told every single person who crossed your path, "Hey, you see this shirt I'm wearing? You might think it's made of linen, but it's not!" then you'd probably be the only one who knows. It sure looks a hell of a lot like a linen shirt, and maybe it'll feel just as soft too if you run it once through the wash with some fabric softener.So yeah, it's not an actual linen shirt, but is it a bad shirt? No. Out of the packaging it feels a little stiff and irritating, and it's got tons of wrinkles from being folded up in that plastic bag, but it fit me perfectly and maybe with some TLC it'll feel really nice too. It's sheer and lightweight enough to *pass itself off* as a linen shirt, so what the hell, that's good enough for me.
