High quality plate
I needed an Arca-style plate to mount my camera rig with my tripod and shoulder pad. The aluminum plate is well-machined and the length keeps my entire setup stable. The bubble level and distance markings are nice and I love the fact that the extra holes line up with my Smallrig baseplate + rod clamp (Part #1798)--the extra holes prevent twisting. I wish the safety pins were spring-loaded, so the plate could lay flat on a table while being useful on a quick release plate. Luckily, they are removable.Pros:- high quality aluminum; well machined- bubble level & distance markings- extra 1/4" screw holes on both side of plateCons:- safety pins not spring loaded- only comes with one 1/4" screw
