Purchased four of these camera's the info that comes with them sucks . This is the fifth one that I received the picture was blurry right out of the box. Never had a camera that was blurry right out of the box. I finally hooked it up a video camera, put it on my lap and played with the focus and zoom knobs. Nothing I did would bring it into focus. So I returned this one. I forgot which knob adjusts what, there are no directions to tell you. I didn't matter I played with it more a half hour and nothing worked, so back it goes. I got four good ones, so I reordered it. The four that I am using have been working for about a year and a half They are very clear and have very good night vision. The only problem you could have with these cameras is, that the night vision is so strong, that it might be too bright in close in setting..Update; Got another one of these, they shipped it really fast. Perfectly focused in the widest position. Mounted it adjusted a little bit. Happy camper now. What makes a camera like this so good, is, that you can put them anywhere and make them work. It is very difficult to find a fixed lens 2.8 MM camera. So this does it all. A note. I've had one of these mounted out from under the eave where it is exposed to sun and the rain, no problems. It has been there for about a year and a half. The main weakness of this camera is, the IR coverage. It throws out an intense spotlight leaving the edges in darkness. I would say the coverage is about 2/3 of the area. I used this camera to replace an inexpensive fixed lens camera that fogs up after rain. But that camera covered the entire area in an even light.

I am getting tired of going up and down the ladder replacing cheap cameras, this one I thought might be better since it has variable zoom and focus. I spent about 30 minutes on the ladder with my cellphone trying to get this right, if you go past the focus point and turn the screw the other way it does not come back, had to adjust zoom then focus then zoom then focus. The best I could get it, it is about 30% worse than my fixed focus $20 cameras. inside at short range was not too bad but outdoors trying to capture my front yard it is a fuzzy mess looks like an old looks like a 360 resolution. Horrible even at cellphone sized image it is not clear.I think we as consumers need to start writing BAD with a sharpie on these things so they stop shipping us returned defective products!I am tired of going back and forth so going to buy a half dozen different cameras and return the worst ones, hopefully I can fine at least one keeper

I replaced my lower definition system with a 720P DVR. It came with four fixed focus cameras. I bought two of these. I bought a third; I returned another manufacturers and bought a fourth. These are crystal clear when set up properly and can be set for field of vision or facial recognition. The focus controls are easily accessible from outside of the camera. I don't know how long they will last, but they are a great camera for the price.

I got this camera to replace one that went out. I usually buy the cheap ($20 or less) ones and when they go out it's no big loss. I have 8 cameras in my system. I installed this one about 8 hours ago and have been very pleased. It took longer than I expected to get the zoom/focus the way I wanted it, but I got it done. It's dark now and the ir lights are throwing out a lot of light, covering it's entire field of view. Makes the other 7 cameras look weak. I will buy more of these when the others go out. Oh, It's also larger that the cheaper ones, something I noticed when I opened the box. Very happy with it so far.

Used to replace smaller bullet cams over past 7 yrs. Was larger and had to make new mount to patio cover. Excellent picture with only complaint was User Guide did not mention or picture the manual focus and manual zoom controls.Mounted on front of patio cover where the IR LEDs lit up both the curb across street and the neighbor's front of house!

Nice and sharp image. Does great against sunglare. The manual focus and zoom in out feature is very handy. The only flaw is the night vision seems to focus towards the center and leaves the edges of the camera view a bit dark. Can't see if the ir led are fully working because I already put it on a high pole which I can't see clearly at night.

Not as advertised lucky if you get 35 feet will be returning it was replacing existing camera I had this camera will be good for indoor use wraps in your bedroom not outside we’re trying to capture the surrounding area for 60 feet were so by a much better camera
