Excellent little knife, the marvelously slim & tiny sheath is the best part!
I really didn't expect to like this little knife so much. I've been admiring it / had it on wish lists for years, and dunno what got into me, but I finally pulled the trigger. I'm so glad I did, and wish I had bought it sooner. It's almost bizarre; it's so sleek, slim, and slender, yet I wouldn't say the knife is "too small". It is a lovely, perfect size. The Kershaw Dune is nice & perfectly compact, slim, slender, short enough to easily conceal, but long enough to get a firm grasp & blade long enough to.....cut. & Penetrate. If I really had to nitpick, I wish that the handle was just like a quarter to a half inch longer, but no complaints with it as-is.Another significant part of what makes this so unique is that sheath is equally thin, short and slim. So many knife sheaths consist of these enormous pancakes of Kydex or similar thermoplastic sandwiched together, and they are just comically large. Not so with the Dune; Kershaw has a clue here! The sheath is barely - and I mean **BARELY** larger than the blade it contains. It's a marvel!I really wish that more knife makers would craft their sheaths needs to be this slim, or at least create secondary options that are so compact. The downside is it does somewhat reduce carry & mount options, but it is so nice to have such a slim and little package. You can literally tuck this knife ANYWHERE, and when wearing as a neck knife, it absolutely 100% disappears, even under a plain white t-shirt.You could probably do something like get one of those Nite-Ize adhesive clips; adhere that to the sheath & create a pocket clip that way, but then you ruin it for neck carry.Honestly, it's almost worth it to get a secondary sheath made for belt carry.....slick beautiful little blade...!!Love this thing, considering buying a second. It feels very high quality, solid & well-made. Came very sharp and the sheath retains it very well.Well done, Kershaw!

Amazing Knife bought two
The media could not be loaded. Liked it so much that when I lost it I bought another one. Very sturdy, very well balanced, doesn’t come out of sheath unless you pull it, very easy and quick to draw, can come into play in about 1 second maybe less. I put 4/5 stars on lightweight because it isn’t too lightweight it’s the actual perfect weight for a knife it’s size, it’s very maneuverable in your hand (I am a 15 year drummer though so stick tricks are kind my thing). Wasn’t extremely sharp from factory but I like to twirl it so I don’t keep it razor, very well made knife as to be expected from Kershaw. There was only one thing that I did to change the knife: the sheath hangs around your neck from a cord, and at the top of the cord (where the circle completes) is one of those spring clamps that hold the end, I took that off and tied the ends onto the sheath instead because that little clamp will let people know that you have something (other than the necklace I wear with it to disguise the cord) around your neck. If you decide to do that make sure you tie small flat knots to make sure the knife isn’t pushed away from your body into your shirt making a visible silhouette.

A Cool Little Knife.
This a cool little knife. The Dune is about the same size and weight as the CRKT Sweet Kiss, but has a much different shape, like something out of a Samurai film or a tiny machete. The blade is a wedge-style tanto with a wicked, pointy tip. Both sides of the blade are beveled the blade end being slightly wider than the hilt, giving the knife a nice aspect. The Dune has a full tang, with a small cross guard; however, the handle scales are a bit small, making the grip a bit sparse for those with large hands. Quite sharp out of the box, the Dune has a nice molded plastic sheath that grips the knife securely. The steel is decent and easy to care for and keep sharp. If you're looking for a cool looking utility or backup knife, this is it.

Very cool little knife with an extreme point
Very cool little knife. Quality build but comes a little dull from the factory. It was easily sharpened with about 10 strokes through a Smith's Pocket Pal Multifunction Sharpener - Also a great inexpensive piece of kit.My only issue with the knife is it's obviously very slim and the handle is small so it's hard to grip tightly. A more aggressive handle would've fixed the problem but it's fine for what it is. A slim backup knife that's there when you need it.I'm not sure I'd wear it as a neck knife since it's a bit long but there are many other creative ways to carry it. I actually just have mine in my jacket pocket and it's barely noticeable. For $20 I completely recommend grabbing one if you're thinking about it.- BASE5 NYC -

Sturdy
It's sturdy for being small or thin, good length, good balance, it came pretty sharp... I'm a knife guy, and a survival, combat thinking type... I like it, I owned alot of knives, (the real ones) not that aesthetic bs... this is a good neck knife, simple and to the point 👉

The sheath is bad..
After few days of wearing, the knife come out of sheath, I had tie a shoe lace to keep it together, other than tht the knife wasn't the sharp out the box, which I guess is a good thing.. It's a beautiful knife and it feels well made...

Good
Great little knife I wear it around my neck as a daily. It is super sharp right out the box and well balanced and slim.

Its a good knife i don't care what other reviews say
The media could not be loaded. Its a pretty simple knife and i thought it was just the right size. The sheath holds it just right. Not too tight or too loose. I can swing it around by the string over my head without it flying out and killing somone and i don't have to yank on it too hard to pull it out either. My only problem is that when i sharpened it, a little of the carbon came off around the middle but who cares. If it really bothers me i'll cover it with a sharpie, the price is good for what the knife is so i give it a good review. It's made of metal, it cuts things. Its good enough for me.
