So simple but so FUN!
This is a family favorite with my elementary age kids, but it's really fun for anyone who plays along! I mean, who doesn't love to look at pictures of adorable puppies?!?! It's easy to play, and it has the same concept as Apples to Apples. You learn to "play to the judge" (example: if my son is the judge and you have a Pomeranian card, play it!! π). This is a crowd pleaser and one that's a great ice breaker if you have a group of kids that are together. Example: we got this out during a Cub Scout campout when we had some time to kill in between activities; we started with 3 kids and soon there were 9 kids around the table having a blast together! It's easy for someone to just jump in at any point, really. The only real challenge of this game is that sometimes it really is extremely difficult to decide which puppy to choose!!! They're all SO CUTE!! This is definitely a winner. I've already given as a gift for another family and will probably do so again in the future. And I love that this is made by a small business.

A family favorite!!
This game is simple, yet an absolute favorite for our kids (from four to fourteen!) to play! They love the pictures and choosing the puppy to go with each name- buy this, you wonβt regret it when it comes to family game time!:) the pictures are so adorable and fun, and it has simple rules to follow- highly recommend!

Missing instructions
I bought this game to play with my grandchildren and possibly with groups of children I visit while participating in the AKC Canine Ambassador program. It looks like the children will enjoy it. However, the deck I purchased is missing the card with the instructions on how to play the game. That is the reason for not giving it a full 5 star review. Luckily, there are videos so I was able to find out.

It's fun!
It's a fun family game that works for kids 5 and up. Younger kids can team with a family member. The kids loved the puppy cards and the game plays like apples to apples. It's a good group game!

More Fun Than Expected
I got this game for my 9 year old because she is obsessed with dogs. I wasn't totally sure what to expect but it's become a family favorite with both the older kiddo and her 4 year old sister. It reminds me of a kid friendly version of Apples to Apples but with pictures of dogs and very minimal reading. My kids don't really get the finer points of what a dog with a certain name may look like but we enjoy it as a family and it's in our regular rotation. I've also taken it to my classroom for testing days and my 12 year old students enjoy it too.

Great game for younger kids!
I played this with a 5 and 9 year old and they wanted to keep playing! The pictures of the dogs are great! 4 stars though because more name cards need to be added to match the quantity of the picture cards.π We also added these additions to the game for fun:- At the end of the game, you get to pick what puppy from the leftover cards in your hand that you want to βadoptβ. Then you pick a random name card to go with it.- Then at the end- go around with each showing and sharing the names of the puppies they ended up with.π Another version of the game: Play the reverse where you pick up name cards instead of puppy cards and flip over a puppy instead of a name card.
