Very sturdy, will not turn over. if you have someone that’s unstable on their feet & when they sit down, this is a very sturdy drop arm bedside toilet for anyone that needs it. Not necessarily for elderly, but anyone! it is the best I’ve seen. It has a simple push button to release the arm on either side of the toilet so that it drops easily-the person can move from bed to the toilet. It has thick padded seat, which is wonderful for delicate or fragile skin. It has the ability to raise/lower for height; it has a back bar for support. It is so much better than the basic bedside toilet! it was well worth it simple to put together just a few slide in’s and pushpins and you’ll have it ready.

It is truly a drop arm…as opposed to others who claim they are but aren’t! It’s sturdy, easy(ish) to set up. Arms down it fits u see our desk and out of the way. Seat is cushioned and soft. Excellent product!

Very sturdy. Drop arms are easy to put down and take up with one hand. Cushion seat is very comfortable. I never thought I’d say this, but, the opening is too large if you have lost hip weight during your illness. An option for a more narrow seat opening would be appreciated. The front to back size is fine, espyfir men and their equipment. But, narrowest would be a good option.

Very pleased with purchase. The only thing I would change if I could would be the very cushy padded seat. My 82 year old M-I-L says because it is so soft and "plush" it is somewhat hard to shift around if needed for someone who is weak and has little leg strength to adjust their positioning. A firmer less padded seat would work a little better for this reason and still be very comfortable. Regardless of that, I am highly recommending this product.

Not only is this commode comfortable, but as one heals and it's not longer needed "bedside", it can be used over a regular bathroom toilet.

Very sturdy. I'm a larger person and it works great. The drop down handles are wonderful.

The seat and frame are sturdy, but this rip happened within a month of using it.I was sent a second seat, but the exact same thing happened. I cannot stand nor walk. I have to slide from my wheelchair over to the seat. Within 1-2 months of doing this, the material began ripping. I do not recommend this commode for anyone that cannot stand up and sit directly on the seat. Not only that, but the bolts rusted and I had to have it fixed. The arm would not drop…

Extremely hopeful to a person that is an amputee

This chair is amazing. We purchased one that had a circle and with a 93 and 87 year old it had to be cleaned 6-7 times a day. Not enough room for seniors to whip their buts. This chair is large, cushions seat and more then enough room for seniors to use and much LESS of a mess to clean. I would highly recommend this chair for anyone looking.
