perfectly formed in micro-sized pieces
The set is nicely made and includes stands. Everything is neatly stored in a snap together case and looks the part. It is extremely tiny, which has its pluses for those of us that want a Mah Jong set that is easily stored and portable. If, however, you want the tactile effect of chunky pieces that have a satisfying weight to them that clunk together when being mixed up this set might not be for you. Please don't think of this as a complaint, its just an observation, there's nothing wrong with it at all, its just very tiny and may not suit some players.

Needs numbers!
The kit is fine, very small but I knew that.The only thing I’d say is that it doesn’t have the numbers printed on it (E.g. 8 bamboo) which is ok if you’ve been playing for years but would be really helpful, especially for newer players.

The tiles are smaller than I expected, but it is a travel size.
Bit smaller than I expected, but still sturdy and product adequate to have a first go at Mahjong.
