Uni-BallVision Rollerball Pens Fine Point Ultra-Micro Tip, 0.38mm, Red, 12 Pack

I have been buying these pens for a long time. I don't use any other pens.

Good when you need an ultra-fine point pen.

Found the micro version of this pen ( 0.5mm) to be too thick so I ordered these ultra micro 0.38mm. These do write more like a 0.5 mm but still a great pen if you are a fan of the Uniball Vision series. Only reason I gave the product 4/5 stars is due to the fact that I have 11 pens in the box. I ordered the same pen in the same size in blue and hope to have the full set. I also hope that the next time I order these pens, I am not missing any.

These pens write like a dream. The lines are sharp and crisp and the ink flows through the top incredibly fast and smooth to keep up with my often frenetic writing.

Being in the middle of college as an engineer, I can confidently say that these pens are well worth the money. They work for just about anything. They give super detailed notes and glide effortlessly, but at the same time don’t bleed all over your paper.

The media could not be loaded.  So, for years I thought I'd never use any other fineliner but Micron for my art.Testing these has made me reconsider that notion.I've discovered that these Uni-ball Vision roller ball pens don't smudge under varnish, and they can write or draw ✍️ on dry varnish.They are waterproof like my beloved Micron marking pens, if you wait for them to dry before adding watercolor. (They do seem to take a little longer to dry maybe than my Microns?)I've found each pen to last well, good longevity. But I use them for both writing (journals, planners, lists, letters, medical paperwork, class note taking, gallery forms, diary, you name it) AND in my prolific daily artwork (mixed media, sketching, drawing, doodling, art journaling, jewelry, stretched canvases, canvas panels, etc.) So I'm almost out of a box of pens.Arrrrgh I NEED MORE by golly!I really like how these ultra fine tipped marker pens are great for details. (See photo, a tidbit of one of my mixed media paintings.)I think they are comfortable and easy to hold.Very nice for students, business, or fun.

Uni-Ball has always been one of my favorite pen brands, so I was excited to try out this new Vision pen. This pack contains 12 capped pens with black ink.I love these pens for their smooth ink flow and delicate lines. Due to their small nib, the pen can feel a bit scratchy, but I had the same experience with other 0.38 nibs I've owned (G-2). I think it's just par for the course with this size. I didn't have any issues with the ink smudging, as it seems to dry fairly quickly. The ink is water resistant.I did a writing sample comparison with some other pens I own so that you can see how thin the lines are. These pens are best for writing, but I would recommend Micron pens when it comes to drawing since the ink of these Vision pens isn't advertised as archival (i.e. fade-resistant). Still a great pen for daily notes if you like fine lines.

La pluma que llega no es de 0.5 como dice en la descripción, sino de 0.38 como se ve en las fotos; las pedí pensando que la descripción era la buena y la imagen era meramente ilustrativa. Por lo demás las plumas son muy buenas. Para mi gusto 0.38 es un punto demasiado delgado

Great pens, be careful of bleed through and make sure ink is dry before you turn a page. Do not use them on dirty surfaces or get dirt in the tip they will stop working.
