Exactly what I needed to connect an older camcorder to an older video projector. I needed a cord a bit longer than the traditional 6' size to accomodate different camera positions used during different workshops (Shown here: setting up for an 'overhead' view of a caligraphy workshop project. The cord is hanging down next to the vertical pipe that will support the camera.). The setup was used for providing close up views of workshop projects 'in process' to a larger audience than could comfortably crowd around the presenter's table. Connectors on the cable were solid performers with good mechanical tolerances. No signal noise or other degradation issues were noted on the 12' run.

it does what it is supposed to do. It has precise fit ends that don't fall out when you move the tv or whatever.

The bag stated new cable, it looks brand new, worked without any issue.I used it to digitize a S-VHS video. Make sure you equipment has the 4 pin mini DIN connector also called S-video connector

The price was great and arrived on time, however, everything went down hill after that. The product was not very good at all. Lines kept scrolling through the picture, ruining it. Replacing it my old less expensive cable, the picture was clear and no scrolling lines. Therefore, if poor quality is not a problem, buy this one. Otherwise, try a different cable, and perhaps a different vendor. After the review, the vendor sent a better cable, which they now sell. These are by far much better.

I used this to connect a tv to a Blu-ray player. It was super easy and worked with no issues at all!
