This timer is for my front 5 HOA required illuminations night lights. I tried a different timer but when after an hour and 15 minutes trying to program it with no success I gave up! I ended up retuning it and purchasing the Dataconct which turned out to be an absolute breeze to hook up (if you're familiar house wiring) and program to boot. As indicated there are 3 preprogramed setting in which you can use one, two or all three if so desired or just an off & on switch feature or a countdown timer or the ability to program your own on and off setting. The initial clock setting was a piece a cake to set as was the self program on and off option which I needed. It doesn't have a daylight savings time program feature but who cares since it only takes about 10 seconds to move the clock one hour in either direction when required and for the price even though you get two, you can't beat it!!Bottom line is I worked the airline and aircraft industry (Flew and fixed them) for over 45 years (Cessna 150's to B777's which involved 1000's of hrs of schools) and Im now an old dog that dosent want to learn any new tricks..I don't have any desire to chase any more slobbery tennis balls of tech....So this timer in its simple beauty and operational form fit the bill perfectly in helping to keep my fragile semi senile sanity in check :)

Works perfectly and no programming necessary! I replaced a manually programmed unit that never worked right and added one to a front porch light. Now we don’t have to remember to turn them on or off! Wiring was a snap. Highly recommend!

Easy to install and easy to program.

I finally installed these timers, very nice. I removed two old electro mechanical timers and replace with this new electronic timer, works perfect for me.

Only 1 timer worked. The other one malfunctioned upon installation - no power - could not turn on light. Amazon was very fair about it. They gave me a gift card in the amount of the entire 2-pack, and I did not have to return the good one (which was already installed and working), and I did not have to return the defective one either.

Could not get this to work in my home built in early 70s.. But working I'm my home rewired in the 80s

These timers are so much easier to program than the older style timers. One button - done!

I’m actually using these outside there intended purpose which controlling a 2 hp pool motor no the inrush current. Was the primary concern and I was amazed at the fact that it works very well. I don’t have any problems I checked the operating temperature is absolutely normal. He’s a great timers and I recommend them wholeheartedly.
