Humidifier Water Panel 318518-761 (with Distributor Tray)

Finally my house humidifier is working again! Winter is so much better.I unwisely tried cleaning the old one which had lots of mineral deposits when I bought the house, and then tossed it thinking it was unsalvable. The local hardware store didn't carry this model. So we used tiny room humidifier for many years.At first I though it wasn't going to fit. But I guess it is a tight fit on purpose, so the water doesn't leak everywhere.Pro tip: We replaced our drafty basement windows with glass block windows. We insulated the house (in wall, and in attic). We replaced the drafty single pane wooden windows from our 1950's house. The really made the house comfortable, and it is possible to get the humidity to 40 to 45% because there isn't gobs of dry cold air constantly coming in anymore. I should have done this 10 years ago!

The filter element and distributor tray were fine but the outer box could have used a good wiping before shipping the 2 items.

it works fine! I got tired of calling my local Heating/ac guy every time I wanted to put one of these in, seemed like he was out more than not. you change these every six months, and since he did not want to show me how(he's a money hound) I figured it out myself, he also said these replacement panels "were only sold with his agency and you'd be hard pressed to find anything safe beyond what he sold" I found that these Bryant are the ones he used! if you looking for a humidifier water filter/distributer, this is it!

It matches the original filter exactly as far as I can tell in every detail except original has no country or origin stamped on it. Contrary to the item's description, it has "Product of Mexico" stamped into the metal side.It has no name brand on the box. I asked the seller (via their bay ad) before ordering and they confirmed/claimed it was genuine OEM...maybe it is, but Carrier doesn't put their name on it?

I have bought several of these over the years. They fit and are easy to install and the do what they are supposed to do.

The description did not list that the pads come with the distributor but it looked like they were pictured in the image so I took a chance. It paid off, the distributors are included. I ordered Monday night and the box arrived Thursday morning. Not bad for free shipping. I haven't installed one of the pads yet but they look perfect. I'm sure they'll work just fine.I'll order again.

It appears to work fine and the price is right. May deserve a 5 star if I have long enough experience with it. Will certainly recommend it.

Not much to say about these; they look and fit just like the ones I have previously been purchasing locally. I had no problem installing the filter; it fit like it should. They just cost more than they should for what they are.
