Kent combs, including this one, are well worth their higher price.My primary reason for spending more on a Kent comb was because I simply wanted a comb that would not scratch my scalp, and this Kent comb does not scratch my scalp.An added, benefit of this (and any other Kent comb) is how well it is made. It should last many years with proper use.And finally, and I have no idea why this is, but for some reason my hair actually is more manageable, and feels, and looks better since I have been using this comb. Maybe it is the material it is made of, or perhaps the way the comb's surface is finished (all the surfaces are extremely smooth). Or maybe it is the precise spacing and length of the teeth. WHO KNOWS? What I do know, is Kent combs are probably one of the finest combs available today, and worth their higher price.

I know it sounds crazy, but my husband has repeatedly remarked on how much he likes this comb. It must be special for a guy to do that!Yes, it is expensive, but replacing cheap pocket combs constantly is annoying. The teeth break so easily on those combs!The Kent R7T combs are small but very sturdy and comfortable to use and fit easily in his pocket.

I'm a 37 years old man. Like many men, I always just use those cheap black plastic "unbreakable" combs that you can find just about anywhere. I have never really wondered if there is anything better. To me, a comb was a comb. I guess I can say that I thought they were pretty much all the same.For the first time ever, my supposedly "unbreakable" comb began breaking recently. Over the past month or two, it lost 5 teeth on one end and 1 tooth on the other (at the very ends of the comb). I decided that since I have Amazon Prime now, maybe I could find a new "unbreakable" comb with free 2-day shipping (or better) and I'd be all set. While shopping though, I saw a whole world of high-end premium combs and my mind was almost blown. It's really a world that I didn't know existed. The prices were all very reasonable, so I decided that I'd buy the very best premium comb and be done with these cheap "unbreakable" combs. There was no way I could buy a cheap "unbreakable" comb in good conscience now that I've learned about the existence of these premium combs.After reading all the customer reviews on the different premium combs, it became apparent to me that the Kent combs are by far the best without any question. After doing some research to pick the best Kent comb for me, I placed an order for this R7T.It arrived today and I just finished combing my hair with it for the first time. All I can say is WOW! I enjoyed it so much that I didn't want to stop! It felt amazing and my scalp feels FAR better than it has ever felt after combing my hair. My scalp actually feels GOOD. Combing my hair with this comb felt so good that I actually got goosebumps from it. It was almost like I got some kind of a scalp massage or something, or like I went to an expensive salon. It's hard to explain.The teeth on this comb are extremely smooth, like butter-smooth. On top of that, running the comb through my hair was easier and smoother somehow (I think my hair just slips right between the teeth effortlessly and perfectly). I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. This was the very first time that I actually enjoyed combing my hair. Usually it's like, "Yep, I'm combing my hair. I can't wait until I'm done so I can go do what I want to be doing right now." With this comb though, it was quite a pleasure. Like I said, I didn't want to stop. I also found that getting my hair combed to my satisfaction was also much easier than usual.I can also really feel the quality of this comb in my hands and when I use it. I mean, it's noticeably heavier without being thicker, it's sturdier, more solid, stronger, etc. I think this comb might last me the rest of my life! I had no idea a simple comb could be this amazing and awesome. I mean good grief, it's a comb! So I should be like, "Yep, it's a comb. What more can I say?", but it's honestly not that simple. I am truly impressed by it! I never thought I'd get excited about a comb.In addition, the photos you can find of this comb don't do it any justice. I'm honestly enjoying its appearance. It has a high-gloss finish and it has a very nice transparent tortoiseshell appearance.So yeah, this is the only comb I will ever buy from now on. If I ever need to replace this comb for any reason, then it will be with another Kent comb. There's no way I'm going back to those cheap combs. The difference is huge.I like this comb so much that I just want to give one to everyone I know as a gift. I already ordered one my dad (he tried mine and he loves it). I wish I could get everyone I know to stop using those cheap combs now that I know the difference. If you're still using one of those cheap combs, then do yourself a big favor and get a Kent comb. This comb really does make a difference, and it's a big difference. You'll never want to comb your hair with any other comb ever again. Even if you think your current comb is very nice, I still sincerely recommend that you try a Kent comb.

I bought one of these and it worked great. Eventually I had to buy another one, but decided to go with a different brand / cheaper product to compare the two. That was a big mistake. The other brand I tried was made out of the most abrasive and uncomfortable plastic imaginable, I had to purchase this comb again. The material glides through my (thick) beard hair and it by far the best brush I've tried out of ~5 other brands

I have a medium sized beard. I love this brand because it provides great combs and combs at a fantastic price point without sacrificing quality. I like the two sizes of this comb. The bigger side for detangling and the finer for final combing. This is a very nice size to carry around. Really like it!

I regularly use these combs for my hair and mustache maintenance. I bought this one to replace the cheap comb I use to fix my hair at work. I only wish that it was a little bigger as I have bigger hands and It’s hard to use sometimes. But overall, you won’t be disappointed with purchasing a quality comb for your hair and beard.

With the hair on top thinning, I use this primarily for my beard, which is as thick and the hair on my head was when I was 20. The difference might be hard to see, but it can certainly be felt. The hand-polished teeth glide through the hair with ease and sort out tangles without snagging. This is a travel size, easy to carry along at 5 inches, but has both fine and wide teeth to handle any issue with your coiffeur. Given the quality of construction and nature of it's job, I expect I'll never have to replace this unless I lose it - and I keep a close eye on it. It's a staple of my grooming routine.

Kent combs are great combs. I have several different versions and they all are really high quality.

This is a comb for older guys who can appreciate the finer things in life. This is a once in a lifetime purchase. The size is just perfect
