Bought as a gift. The recipient thought the book had great recommendations and found it interesting and informative.

Handy and interesting, but cannot be described as exhaustive.

Absolutely brilliant. Laura Richards is a fantastic writer who, despite describing essentially the same thing 111 times, manages to inject a lot of wit, charm, history and character into every page. A thoroughly enjoyable read, and I have made it my life's mission to visit as many of these bars as possible. I bought the 3rd edition, which was released in January 2020, and since then a lot has changed, so hopefully the publisher can keep up with the constant re-editions this book will inevitably need. But it remains one of, if not my all-time favourite in the 111 Places series.

I only skimmed through as I am waiting to actually read it on our flight to Heathrow! I’m very excited to do so!

Great book to know what pubs are in certain areas of London. Would have liked a little history of each pub. But it did not disappoint.
