I just bought an espresso machine with a milk steaming attachment. I've never made cappuccinos before but went on amazon and bought this frothing pitcher. upon receiving it I was surprised at how small it was since I am used to seeing large pitchers at starbucks/other coffee shops when the baristas are steaming milk. However, the instructions included with the pitcher say you don't need more than 4 oz of milk for a cappuccino and using a larger pitcher will only cause you to waste milk. This definitely seems to be the case! I fill the milk to the 4 oz line and froth/steam under the milk reaches the top of the pitcher. It really is the perfect amount of milk and there is plenty of room to make a generous amount of foam for the cappuccino. I pour in the milk + foam over two shots of espresso and sprinkle some chocolate powder on top. Its a perfect cappuccino!! I definitely recommend this for someone looking to make a single serve cappuccino - you don't need or want a larger pitcher. I think it would be tough to use a bigger pitcher and fit it under the steam rod anyway. I should also add that the pitcher is very pretty (and much prettier than what I've seen at coffee shops).

If you want a Latte, get the 20 ounce model. This is too small for a good sized cup of Flat White. Milk gains twice its volume so you will overflow this little pitcher every time. Unless you use only 2 or 3 ounces of milk.

I used this pitcher 2 times in three months and already looks very worn with visible dent. I purchase this to replace my old one that was starting to look worn after 3 years of use but now the old one looks better and has no flaws or dents. The old one is from a different brand but also stainless steel and the same size.With minimal wear this item is already damage with a visible dent on the front area. I think the quality is poor, the material is thin an prone to damage with normal use.Also in the description of this product they indicated the product has 5 years guarantee but 1 month after the purchase you can not return or ask for a replacement. I was looking for a product that last for a year or more, I am very disappointed.If you buy this products, mil pitcher-frother try it immediately and test it many times before it is too late to return.

This is a very nice pitcher obviously made with quality materials and the capacity is large enough to melt butter for popcorn, seafood or other recipes. It also would hold enough milk to warm for your morning coffee or oatmeal which is why I bought it. Unfortunately, I have an older gas stove and the grates around the burner are almost as large as the base of this pitcher.It does work, but I have to use a very low flame and be very precise when I set it on the burner. It might not be an issue for most people, but those with a gas stove similar to mine might have this issue too. I will keep it, but I might have to look for a different option in the near future.

Bought this to go with a milk frother. It is beautiful and the quality is readily apparent. My husband even remarked how beautiful it was. It has a spout for pouring so I can use it for so much more than just for my frother. It was delivered quickly and packaged very well with no scratches or dings. Would totally recommend.

I'd already been gifted a small espresso maker which is helping to power my career as a freelance writer. With this later, unexpected gift I'm now able to measure out and easily steam up the fluffy milk foam I top my espressos with. The pitcher is good looking, right-sized, and marked with measurements to make everything work right and easily.

Was smaller than I anticipated. I knew it would be small but... it’s pretty darn small. I have to pour out some of the milk before it’s fully heated just to make room for the expanding foam for the rest. But it works great and is good quality. I like the measuring lines inside.

I picked this Frother over many many others which were advertised on Amazon. It caught my eye as a quality Frothing Pitcher and after receiving it I was not wrong. The measurement markings on the inside are very readable and the Pitcher without markings are the outside allows you to view the high quality stainless steel without markings. You'll love it and the froth it makes.

It's a bit small for my needs (I want to steam enough milk for more than one person each time), but I would say that it's the perfect size for someone looking to make a single serving latte.
