This was a gift for a dear friend...and it was in Perfect condition.....Love this book about Padre Pio...Would Highly recommend it to all Catholics who Love St. Padre Pio.....

Somebody once walked by my desk and commented on this saint as 'stigmata-man'. How sad - how crude. Padre Pio was not a 'freak' in any sense of the word. He received Jesus most holy wounds for a reason: his tremendous humility and concern for the suffering. Patricia Treece is a great hagiographer - a student of the holy Saints of Jesus. This book has some very good insights into the fascinating life and thoughts of this noble man we have all come to know and love: Padre Pio.

Okay Padre Pio is my favourite saint but the book is a cannot put down book. I just love it, and will be sorry to finish it.

Beautiful and inspiring. I read one different passage each day and find it fits my circumstances to a tee. What a great book!!
