This is one of those very popular surprise toys but as an adult I am not too keen on the idea as it can be very expensive to collect the full set as you are in danger of having duplicates of the same doll. At £17.64 at time of review with 12 dolls to collect then this is about £200 to collect the series, assuming you have no duplicates. Added to this, there is a fair amount of wrap and plastic which will probably be discarded after a short time. Gripe over...This is what you get in the smoothie glass shaped packaging: 1 Cry Babies Tears Tutti Frutti doll (assorted); baby bottle and dummy; 4 personalised accessories of a spoon, bowl, sunglasses and dress; 1 assorted accessory (which could be a rare gold one); and a personalised sticker sheet. The unique selling points about this approximately 13cm doll is that it smells of a fruit and it cries tears by feeding the doll with the bottle and then pressing its belly. I found the smell of the doll sickly sweet but I am certain most children will find it adorable in this respect, and the same with the look of the doll. I frankly find it less than cute with its disproportionate head to body and large starring eyes, but I am certain I am in the minority; this seems very common with a lot of dolls these days, possibly because they are based on cartoons. I have given this a generous 4/5 stars despite the price and my reservations as it seems bright, colourful, well made and of good quality, and I am certain it will appeal to young children; it is also, like most dolls, ideal for imaginative play. It is not really a pocket money price, but would encourage a child to save up to buy, or request as a present for their birthday etc.

A perfect addition to any cry babies fan. The packaging is really brightly coloured pink. Theres 13 different babies to collect, including a rare baby to find. With each one you dont know which one is inside. So its great fun having the surprise element, but also theres a chance you bf up with multiples of the same doll. Opening up the pack, which is it's own tutti frutti house, you get to see everything inside. You get a doll, bottle, dummy, spoon, bowl, sunglasses, dress, and even a sticker sheet. All the accessories and doll is brightly coloured. The doll is made from a soft plastic material, 13cm in length and smells fruity. You need to give the doll water to drink and squeeze its tummy to make it cry. It doesnt cry instantly, you need to feed it quite a few bottles of waulter and wait for it to settle before squeezing. Designed for children aged 3 upwards. The accessories a quite small inside and younger ones might need help filling the doll with water, expecting it to cry straight away. It's a cute little set, thays really fun to play with. Exciting to find out which baby you have a make cry. Great to be played with over and over again.

I still remember the Tiny Tears dolls from goodness knows when. I can even sing the tune! Today we have Cry Babies Magic Tears which work on a similar basis. However, these are collectable ones with a variety of different models. Each with its own fruity scent. The one I was sent was a strawberry one.When kids collect items like this they don’t really care about quality which is a good job as it’s not very high. The doll itself is nicely made, but most of the accessories are cheaply made. The small leaflet inside the magic smoothie bottle is totally inadequate, and you are left to work out how to use the doll.From what I can understand, you fill the little feeding bottle with water and then squirt it into the doll's mouth. Then when you squeeze the doll’s tummy, the water comes out of little holes in the corner of the eyes. Probably, most kids will already know how to use them.There are a few points I’ve come across that need mentioning. The colourful printing on the outside of the smoothie bottle is actually printed on the cellophane, so when you remove this cellophane you are left with a rather plain-looking bottle. The second point is that a lot of the accessories are sealed in a plastic wrap that has to be broken to get at the contents. This means a lot of very small parts have nowhere to be stored and will probably be lost quite quickly.After saying all that, kids will probably love it, but I really can’t see why!Overall, craze linked collectable crying dolls. Just as cute (or cuter) as the original Magic tears cry babies. It is always annoying that you are not sure which baby one will get....but my four-year-old niece was over the moon for them.The magic jello tears are messy. It would probably be a good idea to first play with them in the bath tub or in a sink....luckily we are in a rental that started out with awful carpets...The packaging is impossible to remove. At first, I felt it was a little fishy because extra tape was added on the bottom and over the top of the shrink wrap pull which after buying a few from other stores indicated someone opened and returned them....but I think in this case it was just for added security during the shipping processNothing was opened or missing. The packing, although it takes forever to remove is super cute and would make for a cute gift. You could give away as a gift pack or cut the connecting packaging and give as separate gifts because each individual smoothie house is also shrink-wrapped.

Funny jelly tears. But only teared when I put it facing down. I guess it likes to cry in bed facing the pillow. Like me.

El muñeco que viene dentro es sorpresa. En nuestro caso tiene olor a Granada (el naranja de la foto) y está muy bien. Es tal y como se ve en la foto y viene con sus complementos.Mi hija juega mucho con él.
