Tastes ok. Don't mix in cold liquid.
I just started using this yesterday and I'm hoping it will help my chronic inflammation. Not expecting it to all go away, but hoping this will reduce the joint and tendon pains so I can be more active. Hope I remember to update review.Pros: good price, doesn't smell odd, tastes okCons: package is hard to seal, doesn't mix out well in cool/cold liquid, directions say "3 gms powder, 1 to 2 times a day" and that's apparently too small a weight for my home digital scale. The cons I've identified are easy fixes.I might just put the pouch into a larger container in case it tips over.I'll mix in warm or hot water/ non-dairy 'milk' (a Times of India article gives a winter tea recipe). After several tries, I estimated that 3 g is about one scant teaspoon of powder. (Would appreciate any corrections if I have it wrong.) The Times of India recipe calls for one teaspoon of powder (+ other ingredients) in 2 cups of water for one day's supply.

One of those very beneficial products that is hard to get down
The majority of the reviews all seem to agree (me also) that the taste of this amla is very very bad. Despite this, I have forced it down trying MANY different organic juices and finally found the almost perfect taste cover-up juice that makes the amla as palatable as it's probably going to get and that is 100% red tart cherry juice. I don't linger on it to swirl and enjoy but it makes a quick consumption a bit easier. I haven't had any major reactions other than taking more than 1/2 teaspoon and will never do that again. I can say I recommend it...

Love this product
This is a great part of my hair routine. I use it weekly in my hair mask...I do this in place of typical shampoo and conditioner. I also use this in place of dry shampoo in between washing. It is a much better alternative. I put it in a shaker and I spritz my hair with water...work it through. Then a minute or so with the hair dryer.

Positive product
From the information provided and from other sources, this product did not disappoint. The packaging was sturdy and provided an excellent storage package. It is an excellent, healthy choice to add to a smoothie. The bitter flavor is absorbed by the other ingredients. I use it in all my smoothies.

Indian Gooseberry
I used to eat the dehydrated berries in my oatmeal, but since I no longer eat breakfast, I've switched to powder form. I just put 1/2 tsp in about an inch of water, drink it like a shot (every day), and chase it with water. It's both gritty and sour-tasting. I am taking it to reduce cholesterol.

How do I know it’s working?
Hard to comment. Packaging doesn’t seal real well, it is hard to dissolve and tastes what I think dirt would taste like. The key though is, does it work? Then the taste etc really is not important.
