My mom loved this as her birthday gift. I suggest that you look at the picture for ideas. We painted some hearts with watercolor and interspersed them with the birthday circles. We did not do anniversaries, because we were including the extended family and some strands would have been simply too long.I'm not sure that the picture shows this too clearly, but you will have two rings between the plaque itself and the top disk. I suggest that you lay out your pieces and attach them together with the rings. Then attached one ring to the plaque below each month. Then attach a ring to your string of disks and attach those two rings together. I found it pretty hard to get the ring onto the plaque itself and it was far easier to do BEFORE adding the chain of discs.Really a lovely thing, especially for how affordable it is.

It’s a great gift item for any family! Purchased for my Mom-in-law as a gift for her 84 birthday. The family has grown and she now suffers from dementia and thought for a while this will help with her memory. Each family member will visit and complete their own to add to it! It’s looks nice and sturdy- just the right size to hang anywhere. It speaks volumes to this family as well, little crazy and loud but LOTS of love! Keeper!

I’ve made a handmade version of this before and glad I decided to buy premade. This has everything needed! One small downside is the heart shapes do not work well when used at the top, and the chips are kind of small but I expected that so no real complaints. The board itself is really nice too!

A great value for the price. I painted the pieces with acrylic paint and used a paint pen to write the names/dates and it turned out really nice. My Mom loved it!

I bought this because I’m awful at remembering birthdays. My Aunt Paulette always remembered everyone’s and she loved hot air balloons. So this is a great remembrance in her memory, everyone else who has past and are still here to live.
