Light, durable, and minimum rattle of no significance
If you like to keep the center of balance as far front in your barrels as possible, then these Cosmo slim shafts are for you. These #4 intermediate length shafts only weigh approximately 0.5 grams. They are a tad longer than your typical 40mm intermediate length shaft but I prefer that, especially for shorter barrels, since it eliminates the possibility of your hand interfering with the flights on the release. In my experience, these Cosmo slim shafts are more durable than the standard shafts made from Harrow's, Target, or Unicorn which are guaranteed to break the first time they hit a cement floor. I quit using those latter brands a long time ago and to this date I have never had any Cosmo shafts break yet. Granted the spinners are nice and the darts don't bounce out as often on tight groupings, the shafts will survive the cement floor test. Although the Cosmo shafts cost more, I actually saved money buying shafts in the long run since I made the switch. The spinning mechanism on the Cosmo's is just right unlike the L-Style spinning shafts which are too tight and useless. When holding spinning shafts rattle is always a concern and although there, it is barely noticeable and insignificant - doesn't affect my throw.

Recommend these to any dart player but be warned it ...
This is a bit of a subjective review in that these shafts improved my game significantly. It may or may not improve yours. It's very hard to find the right combination of darts specifications that suit your game but these definitely did the trick for me. I shoot with a 28 gram dart, with these shafts, and the standard Cosmo Darts Fit Flights. Experimenting with different barrels, shafts, and flights my release would always cause the dart to be really wobbly mid-flight and it would also land at an angle - which caused the first dart to often block the target of second and third darts. I can't tell how long these are going to last especially if they drop to the ground. I think if you have a lighter dart, you may want to get a shorter shaft but a lot of the balance of darts also comes from where you grip the dart. I used to hold and release at the shaft/barrel connection but now with the longer shafts I can hold it much closer to the tip without sacrificing the dreaded wobbly flight. Recommend these to any dart player but be warned it might not help your game if it doesn't suit your style and that is no fault of the shaft.

Don't drop your darts too many times.
Great shafts. Changes center of gravity of the darts for batter accuracy. Broke a few of them when the dart hits the ground just the right way. Hate that. Have spares ready if you are in competition. You'll need them for quick repair.

I like the whole Cosmo Fit Gear line
I like the whole Cosmo Fit Gear line. I have tried the spinning hybrid and the normal locked. Both accept the Fit Flight dart flights. Fit shifts and flights really just snap together and don't need to be unfolded or mold. they do not require you to get them aligned perfect to install and they wont "pop off" if your dart group is tight. The spinning shafts are not the kind that whirl around when thrown. they only spin out of the way if your flight is brushed by, or brushes up against another dart. All in all they are wonderful to use . I only give them 3 stars because of price. I mean, come on, get real and admit it!! Over $3.00 a shaft? There is nothing about these things that warrants that kind of cost to the consumer. they are not milled titanium or platinum. These are plastic, Probably molded by the thousands each day and are packaged 3 to a small zip-loc baggie for retail. And they break at the threads just as easily as all other plastic or nylon shafts do. They drop the price to under a buck each and they will have a hit on there hands.

Fit Shaft is the answer to the crappy oldschool shaft & folded flight setup!
Fit Shaft has been the best dart setup that I've ever come across. Been fighting with bent aluminum shafts, cross slit plastic shafts with flight locking rings, spinner shafts that wear loose and start to rattle around when throwing, what else.....oh yea gimmicky spring loaded spinners too. I have long last settled with what works best. I have separate Fit Shaft setups for spinner and fixed flights. Depending how I feel I'm throwing, I'll just swap the shaft/flight setup on my barrels and go to town! These shafts are prone to breaking if your dart hits the floor hard, so have an extra pack handy for backup or upgrade to the stronger carbon version. This system is a little more expensive than standard shafts and cheap folded flights, but it is worth it in the long run!

Very Pleased
It works nicely, and fits the flight nicely. This could be more of a mental thing, but it feels like the dart weighs less than using the aluminum shafts I have been. If they were able to make this system with the shafts not benig plastic I think I'd love it even more. I plan on getting add-a-grams and putting them on the back of the dart to see if that will ease my mental issues. But aside from the personal aspect of it, my darts flew straighter. I enjoy not having to worry if the flights arent at the proper angle or if they will drift to the side because theres curve to the plastic flights.

... them 2 stars because the add says they are like aluminum and will last alot longer
I only gave them 2 stars because the add says they are like aluminum and will last alot longer. Well they are made of plastic and 1 of them broke at the threads And got stuck in my dart. Dont get me wrong the whole set up works great. Its just that the shafts do not last any longer than a aluminum shaft. If they were made out of aluminum they would be worth 3 bucks a piece. But there is no more time or material to make these than there is in making a standrad plastic shaft. And the worst pat is 1 of mine broke hitting the board on a bad throw. The lfights are great and worth every penny. If the shafts were aluminum then they would have something real special. But the plastic shaft busted at the threads. Some one should make them out of aluminum. I think it is outragous to be selling these plastic shafts at that price. If the setup didnt work so great I would of gave them a half star. Gave 2 stars because I love the set up just hate the shafts being made of plastic and breaking so easy
