Replacement for pastel rainbow colored keyboard cover

I didn't feel like shelling out $40 for a keyboard skin. This was a decent option for $10. It doesn't fit perfectly as is. I noticed that it if I lined it up to fit over the Qwerty portion of the keyboard, it didn't line up for the numeric pad and vice versa. However, there are two vertical gaps of clear silicone between the three sections that can be cut and modified. I ended up cutting the film into three sections and if works fairly well that way. Function keys still don't line up, but I didn't feel it was worth cutting again. The tactile feel takes a little getting used to. Still, one can take the skin off and on as one pleases.

I haven't had any issue with typing. There is a little different feel but you did just put a silicone cover on your keyboard. It's not anything that would deter me from using the product. It is for my work keyboard so I am using it constantly and all day. I will say, and this is the reason for 4 stars, that the corners want to curl up and even a little at the space bar. I tried using some Scotch tape but that only worked for a few minutes. The tape does not want to stick to the silicone. I expected it wrap around the edges but I guess that would have affected the way the keyboard sits on your desk. Hay, for $6-7 what do you expect? I like the better visibility of white on black vs the gray on white so I am happy. It does what I wanted since Apple or anybody for that matter never made one of these with black keys like the laptops.

I have the Premiere and Avid covers. I work with a number of different NLEs, and it takes a little time to get the muscle memory back when you haven't used one for a while. This cover is great for that. Much better than some of the more brightly colored ones of the keyboard stickers. I can also write custom keys on with a sharpie, and they stay on long enough for me to remember custom buttons that I use less often. This cover probably won't stand up to prolonged use, but I only really use if for a few weeks when switching from system to system. After that it goes into the drawer for next time.Cleans up well. Good for when you're on deadline and also want to eat fried chicken.

After a few months of use the color has worn off of the centers of many of the keys and it's slightly stretched out of shape. On the plus side, I have been able to hand wash in the sink to clean it. I was expecting something with a rigid structure to it.

I have tried several brands that claim they fit the iMac Wired USB Keyboard, and they never fit. This item from HRH fits perfectly. I never have any issues with it moving, or being out of place. I have washed it once with mild soap and water, and the key color stays intact. I will buy again to keep a spare, as I spend a lot of time on the keyboard. Great product.

This ships from China and it took exactly three weeks from the day ordered for it to arrive here in Northern California. So, don’t order this one if you’re in a hurry. Now that it’s here, I like it a lot. It’s not perfect, but the price is right. I ordered the orange version and the color is very bright and almost neon like. If you look closely, the text doesn’t perfectly align with the text on the keys. The edges also don’t lay perfectly flat, which takes away from look a little bit. Other than that, it gets the job done and now I have an orange keyboard to match my orange office accessories.

Le funciono mucho a mi pareja que ocupa de base el CubeBase, ademas que hace que se mantenga limpio su tecaldo (libre de polvo) se limpia la mica y listo, el teclado como tal queda protegido. La única lata es que viene en inglés y su teclado es en español, ya se acostumbro a las teclas que vienen medio ocultas. Depende si no te molesta que venga en ingles. Es de buena calidad el plástico y se pega por estática al teclado de mac. (Actualización, lo tenemos por mas de 2 años y sigue en buen estado, las teclas que mas se usan están mas claritas pero se sigue viendo en buen estado)
