I recently left my J pillow in a taxi on the way to the airport, and was very disappointed to lose it. As soon as I got to the airport I logged onto Amazon and ordered another one, which I received the following day. It came in a nice little nylon storage bag which my first one didn't have. Honestly, this is the best travel pillow I've ever had. It works! I've taken it all over the world on very long trips. It supports your neck, both front and back, as well as the side of your head. It's interchangeable for either the right or the left side. It's almost like having something to lean against to support your head. It's soft and squishy so you can position it just right. And it's washable. There's no comparison with the standard u-shaped pillows which are so uncomfortable. The last one I bought I returned to the store, and that's when I found the J pillow online. This pillow is a little odd looking, but it's well designed to be pliable in fitting around your head and neck, but still provides support. No more chin falling on your chest. And the little loop that snaps around your luggage handle makes it easy to carry with you, hands-free. I highly recommend it! It costs more, but it's worth it to be comfortable while travelling, either in a plane or in a car.

I bought this for an upcoming trip to Australia, so I've only tested it thus far (sitting in an upright recliner while using it) and can't speak to its durability. The design itself is very funky, but thankfully it comes with explicitly instructions on how to use it. Once I got the angle right, this provided more support than I expected. I have a tendency to do the side head flop when sleeping upright, and I was worried this would only provide forward support, with that chin rest- but the side support is super comfortable and perfect for the angle of my head and length of my neck. I'm confident it'll be a great asset on the trip. It's a little bulky for packing on your carry-on, but does squish down to a degree and comes in its own stuff sack. It's also nicely plush to the touch. I'm looking forward to trying it out for real!

I found the pillow itself comfortable, but unfortunately, after one use the bag tore, and I’m hoping that the company can replace it, but haven’t been able to contact them as of yet. It’s not torn in a way that I can sew it.

The pillow is extremely cozy and the material is great. I bought this because I had surgery so I now have to sleep sitting up. I was hoping this would help my neck. Not so much. The part that goes behind your neck is thick, therefore, pushes your neck forward uncomfortably. And when you turn your head, the pillow slips out of place. I think they are on to something here, but it needs a little more work.

This pillow is the best!! I bought it for a long plane ride Egypt, but had to cancel when I had surgery for a detached retina. The surgery required me to keep my head in certain positions and this pillow worked for every one of them. Face down, side to side, this pillow works for any position you want to lay your head! It is perfect for having to sleep sitting a chair. You can use it by itself or with other pillows, watching TV, sleeping, reading, riding in a car, sitting up, laying down. . . it works for all! The microfiber is soft on your face and neck and yet it is firm enough to give you support. An additional bonus is that it does not smother you and is easy to move around. I highly recommend it!

I bought the J-pillow to travel to Thailand and when I used it I fell in love! The pillow is softer than the usual circular travel pillows, which always make me feel like they are trying to strangle me! I can never get comfortable, even with the inflatable ones. The J pillow allowed me to rest 1/2 my face on the pillow but have support below my jaw so it felt secure. It even smelled good! I sat in a window seat and it fit into the window nicely and let me sleep through one of the overnight flights. I have honestly never slept as well on a plane as I did on that flight. The pillow has a loop on it that allows you to secure it to your back pack and comes with a well made bag it can be crammed into when you're done using it. It is definitely worth the purchase price.

I absolutely love my J-Pillow. I used it on an 11 hour flight and slept with no problems whatsoever. It's very comfortable and I still use it at home. My one and only complaint is the support around the back of the neck. I wish it reached around just a little more to make it feel more secure.Traveling with the J-Pillow was not difficult at all. You can hook it to your carry on or fold it and put it back in the bag it came in. Both are simple and relatively compact.
